Whole Soul Salvation
“Whole Soul Salvation!”
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his
name:” John 1:12
If you died right now with Christ in your heart, where
would you go? To Heaven! If you died before you asked
Christ into your heart, where would you have gone? The
difference between Heaven and Hell is the Lord Jesus Christ
living within, who died to pay the price of our sin.
Now that Christ lives in your heart, He has promised that
He will never leave, ” … for he hath said, I will never leave
thee, nor forsake thee.” (Heb. 13:5b). No matter when you
die, Christ will still be in your heart as He promised, so Heaven
is as sure as if you were already there.
God does expect us to obey Him after we become His
children, and the very first command that He gives is found in
Acts 2:38, ” … Repent, and be baptized every one of you … “
Repentance takes place within, when I turn away from sin and
self and turn to Christ as my Saviour. Baptism is the outward
sign of what has happened in one’s heart-a picture of the
death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. Immediately after we
get saved, God expects us to be obedient and show the world
that we belong to Him. If you receive Christ into your heart as
