2/21/24  · The cardinal doctrine of the modern day dispensational doctrine is almost identical with what first century rabbis taught during the time of Christ. Rabbis taught according to the predictions of the prophets of ancient Israel the purpose and goal of the Messiah was to re-constitute the Jewish nation, the re-occupation of Israel (mistakenly called Palestine by those ignorant of history), the setting up again the earthly throne of David and to elevate Israel as a world power; a place of supremacy. The moderns of Christianity have lined up doctrinally with the apostate Jews in their interpretation of prophets “because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets” (Acts 13:27).
