JUST A THOUGHT/QUESTION… Can anyone improve the King James Bible with modern scholars and academics? How good were the men who worked on the KJV 1611?
Jim Curran Admin It is important to note there is a huge difference between correcting (changing or correcting what is there) and adding a little more detail than the more specific wording that Greek vocabulary often gives. Knowing what words for love were used by Christ and Peter in John 21:15-17 gives the detail to see the depth of the conversation more as well as Peter’s grief when Christ responds back with Phileo which Peter had used before rather than Agape that Christ had used. That is one example.

Those who need to study the Greek and Hebrew, but still don’t know how to speak it fluently and understand it when spoken.
But try to correct the KJ Translators for a better understanding who were the greatest linguistic experts even compared to Modern Day Scholarship.
Are Subtle Supporters for the Modern Versions in a way since those modern day scholars also Didn’t Believe the Words of God were Inerrant.
So might as well check all the versions to see the Greek and Hebrew with their different Renderings.
Never coming to a Full Conclusion of Acceptance of God’s Inspired Words, through the King James Bible, and the Greatest Linguistic Scholarship that were True Men of God.
