“The words of the LORD are pure words: … Thou shalt
keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them … “
Psalm 12:6a & 7a

A. W. Tozer (1897-1963) said, “Reading the new versions
of the Bible is like a man shaving with a banana!” Lots of guys
must be using a banana now days! Doesn’t work too well!!
I for one am grateful to God that it is settled in my mind
and heart that the King James Bible is the Book for the
English-speaking people of the world. It is the Book that God
has used for over four centuries to reach the Babel-like ears of
a vast majority of the earth’s population. Many of every
tongue and culture learn English as the language of the world’s
business and is a second language to the educated masses.
Some under or over-educated poor souls believe they have
found mistakes in our blessed Book of God! Dr. David Otis
Fuller (1903-88) a graduate of Wheaton and Princeton
Colleges often said, “There are things in the Bible I don’t
understand, but I just chalk them up to my own ignorance.” I
think that statement was said with his tongue firmly in cheek!
He was an ardent and brilliant apologist for the Authorized,
King James Bible.
Lester Roloff (1914-82) clutched his King James Bible to
his chest and exulted to a large audience of preachers in
Chattanooga, Tennessee, “Don’t mess with my mother, this
Book birthed me into the family of God.” Amen & Amen! I’m
