Bill Taylor God ordained both salvation and marriage. If we try to do salvation our own way, we go to Hell when we die. If we try to do marriage our own way, we can make life Hell on earth, but if we do it God’s way, we can give each other a taste of Heaven, right here on earth. There is no joy for a man this side of heaven that compares with having a woman like belonging to him, but he has to convince her that he’s glad to belong to her and glad to care for her for that to work.
