A LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT

While I recognize, and as a citizen am embarrassed by, certain unpresidential-like conduct on the part of President Trump and do not agree at all with some of his decisions, I still believe that he ranks alongside the one or two most courageous and competent Presidents in American history.; and this during a period unlike any other in terms of what he has to deal with at a time when the survival of our Republic as we’ve known it has never, since the Civil War, been more in jeopardy.

I think, irregardless of his faults, it would be a good thing to drop the President a line of encouragement, perhaps along with some words of counsel or complaint, etc. at Whitehouse.gov/contact/.

After the most recent attempt on the President’s life, I sent him the following letter:

Dear President Trump,

I am deeply saddened and enraged by the recent attack on your life, incited mainly by the Left, in our Congress, in media, the entertainment industry, etc.—the Left, that sees you as the greatest, probably the only, serious obstruction they have to their agenda to “fundamentally transform” America into a super-sized version of a marxist, third world pocket of human misery.

I’m grateful for all your successes on the world stage, especially where Iran is concerned, but anxious for you to bring your focus and presidential power to bear on the increasingly time-sensitive Leftist threat now in play and aimed at the literal overthrow of our country. Americans are also anxious to see the rule of law applied and punishment administered to lawbreakers whether they are Leftist criminals in the streets, in political office or on judicial benches.

I understand the history of communist takeover and see it, now in play, here. I also understand the insights, courage and competence that is needed now, and that I see exclusively in you, to overthrow those who want to overthrow our Republic.

May God richly bless you with wisdom in how you conduct yourself and carry out your duties as President of these United States.
