Isaac McCoy week Part 5 Adversity and the life of Isaac McCoy- video 2

In any other literature Isaac McCoy would be a tragic figure. He would bury all but two of his children and only one of their children would survive his wife Christiana. They would face tremendous deprivation on what was then the borders of the frontier. He would forge overland across half a continent through horrendous weather to advocate for a people that were often considered doomed. These trips would find him hopelessly sick and many times put him on the brink of death. yet he would continue. By the end of his life we was shattered in body and health, stooped over and limping. But all of this was for one goal- for the glory and Jesus Christ and the salvation of sinners. This video details just some of the tragedies and difficulties that he faced.
