Warfield’] is now in the statements of faith in conservative Christian churches and taught in Bible colleges and seminaries. Maybe even yours. According to OAO, all subsequent documents contained intentional or accidental errors left by sloppy copyists or translators with their own ideas. That means it’s now up to the scholars to decide which readings they feel are most likely to be what God said. When they can’t agree, which is often, they simply add a footnote and push the decision off to the reader, as to which one he or she likes. This essentially leaves us with a multiple-choice Bible, up for grabs as to what God really said. It became popular and ‘scholarly’ to ignore Christ’s promise to preserve His words.” David W. Daniels, But I Trust The Scholars, pp.52-53
