Down through the centuries, Baptist have always been called by the religious: “Non-Conformists”, thus persecuted.

Baptist never bowed to any king nor religious leader nor denomination. The great Patrick Henry who said “Give me liberty or give me death”, himself during the War for Independence, he and his family attended regularly a Baptist Church pastored by Dr. Richard Furman, Sr., in Virginia. He being a lawyer defended many Baptist preachers as they were arrested and jailed at times for many months for the crime of nothing more than for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and of course, for not baptizing infants. For the most part today, “Tolerance” or “Conformity” is the path of least resistance for most pastors and churches including Baptist. It’s time to stand as our Forefathers stood against the over reach of the tyrants of religious freedom of yesteryear and Do what The Word of God commands us to do, that being:MEET AT THE HOUSE OF GOD, SING, PRAY AND PREACH IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO EACH OTHER without fear!Let us Baptist once again lead the way of religious Liberty by unfeigned faith in a trustworthy God
