The Feminist battle against “The Patriarchy” …
The Feminist battle against “The Patriarchy” is essentially and ultimately a battle against the authority of God. The Feminist battle against “The Patriarchy” is essentially and ultimately a battle against the authority of God.

John Whitten I have taken some time to reply to comments on this thread in order to avoid a more emotional response and present my thoughts more clearly. The wording of the OP was not designed with the intent of reaching or affecting people of either gender, who have espoused the feminist mindset. Rather, they were designed to be a warning to those who may be on the fence regarding gender roles and how the issue affects ones position and relationship with God. Much like pounding on the doors of a burning house to warn the occupants.
I truly believe that feminism has it’s origin in the Garden where Eve was deceived into questioning the integrity and authority of her husband and his message from God for her/them. She chose independence from Adam and Adam chose dependence on her rather than on God. These issues still plague us today, in an ever increasing intensity.
God’s designed roles for men and women have never been revised by Him. Men and women were designed by God with physical, spiritual, and emotional differences. Though men and women are different from each other, they are equal in value to God and His economy, ONLY when they operate according to His design.. From Eve on, there have been forces in the spiritual realm that have been endeavoring to dissolve the designed differences, making both men and women ineffective in their designed calling and purpose.
Feminism and Christianity are not compatible at any level. Such attempts are in complete disagreement with the Bible. A”Christian Feminist” is one who is deceived by those spiritual force against God and His people.
In God’s design for men, men are to be dependent on God, while loving and embracing their wives as Christ does His people. Men aren’t to be dependent on their wives, but they have total responsibility for the well-being of their wives and children. God’s design for women is that of a helper to her husband (having a dependence of God, being a godly wife needs divine help) AND having dependence on her husband, for authority, leadership in all things secular and spiritual, provision, and protection.
There may be emotional responses to these truths, but there cannot be any Biblical dispute. Our effectiveness for God in this world requires us operating according to His design and purpose.
