I had a chance to go to a used bookstore that I had not heard of before Steven’s Books in Raleigh NC today. I was impressed- I think they had the best theological selection that I had seen since ABC Books when I had lived in Springfield MO. They had a very good selection of Baptist History books although expensive on many (on a par with many antiquarian booksellers) I was drooling over a couple of things including a history of KY Baptists at $125. would up staying within a budget and getting A history of the Jersey Settlement Church founded by Gano and one of First Baptist in Charleston SC (They had more copies of this) as well as a book on mission work in NC and a copy of Orchard’s for my son in Bible college.
