Now Consider This Psalm 50:22
“Now Consider This”
“Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver:” Psalm 50:22
God can get mad because of sin! He drowned millions in Noah’s flood. Before burning thousands to death in Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham said about God, “…Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? “(Gen. 18:25). Bleeding-heart liberals, unsaved ice-cold fundamentalists, demon possessed politicians and academics resent these awful truths. They want to go to Heaven with the devil in their back pockets! You cannot “forget God” unless you knew him previously! Since He is sovereign ruler over all things, He thus, controls Covid-19. Is this God’s knock at our doors or a tiny warning about our forgetting Him? God’s wrath fully unleashed on those that forget Him and don’t care is horrible (cf. Psa. 9:17). It would make World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Isis, 9/11/2001, and Covid-19 look like a Sunday school picnic! Have we slowly forgotten God, Jesus and His Word in our daily living and dealings with others? Our actions at church are often false because of how we live at home, where no one else sees or hears except family and God! Mass protests won’t change things or the left-wing media cunningly slandering most good conservative causes. Curse words are popular when hot heads take over cold hearts. Stupid teenagers pour beer on police, some ban prayer, while fools burn buildings and others loot. Will killer viruses finally drive us to our knees? No! So we continue to make the stick God will beat us with some day! The words “none to deliver” give thinking people a chill. (Cont.) — R.P.
