2h · History easily proves that the only form of Christianity that consistently works on a personal and public level is one founded in scriptural truth—in the Word of God and His precepts. Every other approach compromises spiritual integrity and beneficence for the sake of self-interest, self-centeredness, and self-indulgence. In faux Christianity, people fall into a trap of pagan idolatry that only thickens their shackles and sharpens their swords; in true Christianity, the slave is set free and peace, love, and joy reign in the hearts of believers—based on biblical truths. As Joshua wrote some 3500 years ago, “So do not be moved by others. Keep and obey all that is written in the book of the Law of Moses. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left. Do not mix with these nations that stay among you. Do not say the names of their gods or make anyone swear by them. Do not work for them or worship them. But hold on to the Lord your God, as you have done to this day” (Joshua 23:6–8).Everything outside Scripture is shifting sand. The Bible is the solid rock of God!In the book of Matthew, Jesus states, “It is written” seven times. In the book of Mark, Jesus states, “It is written” five times. In the book of Luke, Jesus states, “It is written” ten times. In the book of John, Jesus states, “It is written” five times.Be truthful. Be biblical. Be like Jesus.
