DOCTORS AND NUTRITION I never knew how abysmal doctors’ training in proper nutrition was until 15 years ago.Our daughter was diagnosed with a “digestive” disease.We asked the gastroenterologist “what diet should she eat?”Since she prescribed a particular medication, she must’ve felt confident in saying “anything she wants.”Even as rookies, trying to solve an intestinal/bowel problem we knew she didn’t know what she was talking about.Our experience since then has affirmed and reaffirmed the fact that sadly, almost all modern-day physicians don’t know much at all about proper nutrition.
