I have a confession to make. And … not proud of it! I don’t remember voting until the 2000 election and I didn’t think about politics hardly at all until I was 55. I do remember talking to people about some of the issues in the news that I was concerned about and being told if I didn’t vote I had no right to comment on things. That was usually liberals who didn’t like my comments …. based on growing up in central Illinois as a farm kid and growing up in the Church of the Brethren and learning from the Bible, I was unprepared to understand the Liberal Progressive Mentality. My upbringing taught me that it is intuitively, logically and intelligently wrong. I have been studying independant Bible Baptist Theology for over 40 years now and know that the liberal progressive mentality is worse than wrong, it is destructive. Now that I have been studying Christian Apologetics and more Baptistic Theology I am getting answers to my questions … They are all in the Bible if you look there It doesnot come from rationalism and higher education. It comes from the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Recall how earlier Jesus had told the Pharisees, “I am the door” (Joh 10:9); and to Martha, “I am the resurrection” (Joh 11:25), as well as, “I am the light of the world” (Joh 8:12), and, “I am the bread of life” (Joh 6:35). Having heard Jesus proclaim all of this and more over the past three years, they should have known that He, without doubt, was the way to the Father and His house. He therefore was the way to God. He, in His very person, is truth personified. (Contrast His righteous character of truth with His adversary the devil who is the personification of a deceit—Joh 8:44.) Moreover, Jesus testified that He is life personified. He is the creator of life, both physically and spiritually. He in fact is “the life.” In Joh 10:10, Jesus had testified that He had come “that they might have life.” And in Joh 20:31, He said, “that believing ye might have life through his name.” He is the source of life. Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God is the exclusive way to God and His house. There is no other way.”For there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Ac 4:12).
