He rejoiced to see her children knew the truths from God’s Word and practiced them. They were trained to know, love, and obey God.I loved teaching all the children God allowed in my Junior churches. However, having many already grounded in Bible principles and teachings was a special joy.The untrained children that came to my classes were a blessing, but so many were like unworked, unsoftened clumps of clay. What they heard from the pulpit was all new to them. Many got saved, but for many, it took a lot of discipline, persistence, prayers, love, visits, and special love to get them malleable to God’s truths. Their parents never valued their spirituality and never trained them in the way of the Lord. However, those with prior exposure to biblical teaching and training were like soft sponges. They were eager to learn more about the Lord, how they could be a blessing to Him, others, and see him work in their lives. When your children go to Sunday school, what will the teacher see? (Hopefully, they do go!) Will the Christian educator have to deal with children untaught and unexposed to God’s Word, or will the leader reinforce what the child has already been taught at home?Daily Bible Study:Read “Do Sumthin’” at:https://www.devotionsfromthebible.com/ecclesi…/do-sumthin/All Christians are saved to serve.
