Christians Have Bigger Problems!

“Christians Have Bigger Problems!”
“Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not
among us?” Deuteronomy 31:17b
The problems of the world are trivial. These are all
temporal problems: The Middle East, economic issues, energy
crises, crime rates, political upheavals. The problems facing
Christians involve eternal matters. Some have the mistaken
idea when you become a Christian, your problems are over.
Well, your BIGGEST problem is over (going to Hell)! But,
with solving that problem comes a whole new set of situations.
Actually, the Christian has some bigger problems than the
unsaved. For example, only Christians have the following
problems:*Waging spiritual warfare (Eph. 6:12)
*Conflicting, two opposing natures (Gal. 5:17)
*Opposition from the world (John 15:18-20)
*Evangelism of the lost (John 15:16)
*Opportunity within the will of God (I Cor. 16:9)
*Upholding a Christian testimony (Col. 4:5; I Thess. 4:12)
*Contending for the faith (Jude 3 & 4)
*Pleasing our great God (I Thess. 4:1)
*Maintaining unity with the body of Christ (Phil. 1:27;
2:2; 4:2)
So, cheer up, Christian! Wouldn’t you rather gladly and
graciously have these problems than those of the lost? I think
so, and I also believe we all can do better. – A.H.
