People can be saved from reading the RSV, the NIV, and many other Bible versions just as they can be saved from gospel tracts or by conversations. The problem is spiritual growth. Modern versions teach that Jesus was an imperfect, lying sinner. An imperfect sacrifice could not pay the price for our sins; the modern Jesus cannot save. As Christians leave milk behind and move on to strong meat (Heb. 5:14[1]), accurate Scripture becomes more and more important.
