Catlin, Rev. S. T., was born in Montville, Me., and died May 1, 1878, aged fifty-nine years; ordained to the work of the ministry in 1839. After serving several churches in his native State, he came to Hudson, Wis., in 1851. He was ap- appointed Indian missionary by the American Baptist Missionary Union in 1854. He subsequently preached at Osceola, St. Croix Falls, and Taylor Falls.
