“Power Over Everything”
“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life
dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and
the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify
the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24

In II Corinthians 11:23ff, Paul outlined all the oppositions,
persecutions and physical afflictions he endured in the
ministry. How did he handle them all? I believe he had lived
in the power of Christ’s resurrection since he met Jesus in His
resurrected body on the road to Damascus. His call, “That I
may know him, and the power of his resurrection” (Phil. 3:10)
,
was simply a desire for knowing of Christ’s power. I want
that! How about you?
Paul handled all threats in the power of Christ’s
resurrection, (II Corinthians 11:23).
Paul handled being beaten with rods by the power of
Christ’s resurrection; (11:25).
Paul handled being stoned by the power of Christ’s
resurrection.
Paul handled being shipwrecked and floating in the sea, by
relying upon the power of Christ’s resurrection.
Paul handled all the perils he faced by a full reliance in the
power of Christ’s resurrection; (11:26ff).
Paul handled all of the anxieties produced by his care for
all the churches’ problems; (11:28).
Paul learned the lesson we need to learn: God will never
allow into our lives anything He has not equipped us to handle
in the power of Christ’s resurrection!
CLAIM THAT POWER AND LIVE IN IT!! – G.G.
