Lily Elmore I’ve always wanted to be a wife and mother. When we were asked in school what we wanted to be when we grew up I always answered wife and mother and was ridiculed for it. I never understood why it was an invalid choice. I still don’t. My life is fulfilled by my love of God, the care of my husband, and my children. If circumstances ever change and my life has to change in a drastic way I will never regret staying home with my children and being my husband’s help meet. It’s the most fulfilling job in the world.

Liz Bradley I am profoundly grateful for the work my husband has done throughout the years. It’s taken sacrifice and work, but I was able to be at home and homeschool our children. That’s priceless.

Hebrews 4:16 If you have ever told a lie or disobeyed your parents, you are a sinner who deserves to go to Hell just as my wife and I deserve to go to Hell because of our sins. God is perfect and He is holy. He cannot relate to us because of our sins. Blood must be shed to clean us from our sins. without shedding of blood is no remission. Hebrews 9:22b God is a loving, giving God. He sent His Son into the world to die to suffer the punishment for our sins. The blood He gave as He died is what washes away our sins. Once we realize that we cannot be good enough to get to Heaven and ask Jesus to forgive our sins, we belong to God and will go to Heaven when we die. Our God is a giving, loving God. After Jesus gave His life by dying on the cross, God raised Him from the dead to demonstrate His power over death. Anyone who chooses to believe that Christ rose from the dead and that His blood washes away all sins will be saved. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9 God carefully created men and women so that any couple can give each other a taste of the joys of Heaven right here on earth. Few find His path to joy. Instead, they give each other a taste of the punishments of Hell. God has called my wife and me to help people find God’s path to joy in marriage. Our most startling finding in 45+ years of writing about marriage was finding that few women realize that what they need most is for a man to open his heart to her. Men don’t understand women’s desperate need for open-hearted relationships and women have no idea how frightening it is for a man to open his heart. God made marriage simple. In the Internet age, everything has to be short.
