If the husband desires it, the wife should not deny him and if the wife desires it, the husband should not deny her. By refusing or being reluctant to enjoy the marriage bed, women are undermining their own marriage relationship. They’re depriving themselves and their husbands of a unique closeness. They are opening up themselves and their husbands to temptation due to a lack of self control. The only proper time to deny themselves as a couple is if the couple agrees to it for a time. This could be for example after major surgery (i.e. my husband had an appendectomy) or after childbirth till the wife is healed.
