Brian Sauvé May 23 at 11:01 AM · If Christian women will not be keepers at home, then we will give our generations over to paganism and secular humanism. Our children will be evangelized and discipled by false gods. That’s what’s at stake.
This is why Paul says what he does in Titus 2:3–5″Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.”According to Paul, if women will not love their husbands and children as godly homemakers, the Word of God will be reviled.
How? Because Christian homes will not be places of peace, joy, fruitfulness, and covenant faithfulness without the woman’s strength being poured out there for her people. They will deny rather than display the glorious gospel parable of the home.
She is not replaceable with kitchen gadgets and daycare centers. She is essential to the function of a Christian household.
