Clark, Rev. John Henry, was born in Loudon Co., Va., Dec. 12, 1812. He was converted at sixteen years of age, and baptized by Dr. W. F. Broadus.

Clark, Rev. John Henry, was born in Loudon Co., Va., Dec. 12, 1812. He was converted at sixteen years of age, and baptized by Dr. W. F. Broadus. He moved to Missouri in 1839, and united with the church at Cape Girardeau. Ie was licensed in 1842, and ordained in 1844 to the pas- torate of the church at the Cape. He had a talent for languages and acquired them. He gave much time to teaching, and was successful in it, and he was effective as a preacher. Brother Clark was for years moderator of Cape Girardeau Association. He died April 4, 1869.
