This is the blessed hope we hold on to, and it is deeply rooted in the promises of Scripture. The Mystery of the Rapture: The Bible reveals in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 (KJV):”Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”Lesson: The rapture will be a sudden, miraculous transformation for both the living and the dead in Christ. It’s a moment of victory over death! The Promise of Gathering: 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (KJV) teaches:”For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”Lesson: The rapture will unite all believers with Jesus and with each other for eternity—a glorious reunion in His presenceThe Current Signs: 2 Timothy 3:1-7 (KJV) warns of perilous times in the last days, marked by selfishness, pride, and rejection of God.Lesson: The world’s current state isn’t a reason for despair but a confirmation of prophecy. These perilous times remind us to stay spiritually alert and ready. The Call to Watchfulness: Titus 2:13 (KJV) encourages us to stay focused:”Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.”Lesson: The hope of the rapture should inspire us to live holy lives, share the Gospel, and remain watchful for His return.Every sign we see today points to the nearness of this event.

Let’s not grow weary but stay faithful. As Jesus said in Luke 21:28 (KJV): “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”The trumpet could sound at any moment—be ready!
