After reading the article, Roger Fulk answered: “My first thought is the husband of one wife except death, of the first wife?” also… The thief on the cross… etc and Paul…

I will post it as, “Someone, a pastor friend, recently asked me this question… with or without your name?”

Maybe we can get some good ideas!! Discussion is good as our goal as always is to come to the knowledge of the truth! Randall

Randall Wandell   answered:, “That’s exactly what all of us old timers grow up hearing BUT reread my post. Who can live the Christian life? Absolutely no one without the life of God in you. How can a lost person do the will of God? They can’t! This is why I chose not to marry lost people I cannot say “What God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” They are dead and cannot live up to God’s standards- All come short of the glory of God!”

Where would you suggest I post it to start? I would like it read by some good people. How about the Train the Trainer Group? I’m not sure I see you point 100% yet myself… yet!

Not everyone will. I thought I posted it already but if not use it wherever and thanks.

“Think on these things “ and these things need to be taught! – Pastor Randy Here’s what’s been on my mind so let me share: BLAMELESS, A word many Christians refuse to use concerning fellow forgiven saved brethren who were divorced prior to salvation. You searched for BLAMELESS – Earnestly Contend For The Faith Jude 3

Last time I checked, I don’t care who you are, before salvation ALL are dead in trespasses and sins. ALL had not the life of God in them and yet there are those who say “well marriage was instituted first and God holds all accountable to live up to its standard.”

(or something similar).

May I in my ignorance ask: “When is a dead person capable of doing anything without the aid of the Holy Ghost?”

Furthermore, that first marriage was between two people made new (I’ll let you muse on that, yourself).

I’m so saddened that so many that have been made righteous by the blood of the Lamb live in condemnation because others won’t accept that divorced people have had their shackles removed at the same Cross you and I did!

What meaneth “If the Son therefore shall make you free, YE SHALL BE FREE INDEED?”

I find it tragic that a murderer (Paul, David), a harlot (Rahab), a pedophile (1Cor.6:9-11 “…such were some of you BUT YE ARE WASHED…”) and yet a divorce is stained beyond hope of being washed by the blood of the Lamb and profitable for ministering

Have we forgotten the definition of Blameless from its first use in Scripture? Gen.44:10:

“innocent”{blameless} {clean} {clear} {exempted} {free} {guiltless}.

Brother, Sister, where are thine accusers? (I think the Son of God asked that, right?).

Believer’s need to be set free from the words from the pit of hell: “I’m divorced therefore I must never serve God in any teaching ministry in my church.”

My wounded Brethren, don’t let “the accuser of the brethren” (Rev.12:10),

weaponize those memories in your mind and get you to think you’ve crossed a line God will never fully erase!

I wonder if there be those who think there’s a section cordoned off in heaven with the sign “divorces only”, this I ponder.

Remember this, Divorce prior to salvation or due to adultery after salvation (if it wasn’t you), is not the unpardonable sin for ministry! May the Grace of God be with your spirit
