“The Power Of The Resurrection”
“And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear
not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He
is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place
where the Lord lay. ” Matthew 28:5-6
“That I may know him, and the power of hisresurrection ,… ” Philippians 3:10a
To many, the resurrection is a “once-a-year” celebration,
like a simple anniversary. To the true believer, the
resurrection is a daily source of unbelievable power.
To the woman trying to make it on her own after her
husband walked out-HE IS RISEN!
To the man whose wife decided she preferred the
nightclub scene to the responsibilities of motherhood and
being a wife-HE IS RISEN!
To the church that has experienced numerous rebel attacks
against its stand for Christ-HE IS RISEN!
To the missionary couple facing health problems on a
foreign field with limited medical help-HE IS RISEN!
To the young person whose parents mock his faith and his
efforts to serve Christ-HE IS RISEN!
To the politician who loves the Lord and America, and
whose colleagues try to undermine his efforts for good and
right-HEIS RISEN!
To the person who has been faithful in service but has
recently been diagnosed with cancer or disease-HE IS
RISEN!To the young lady trying to dress modestly and is being
ridiculed at every turn-HE IS RISEN!
The resurrection, in all actuality touches every area of our
lives. Always know-HE IS RISEN!! -G.G.
