“A Bright Word In A Dark Hour”

“And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of
these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of
his saints ,… ” Jude 1:14
Sometimes we may feel that this world is growing darker
by the day. It seems difficult now to find a bright spot in
society. The world has very little positive to announce. The
reason is simple: they are in darkness and cannot offer peace
without knowing the Prince of Peace.
Enoch was living in a very dark day. People were growing
further and further from God. They were living in sin and
enjoying their wickedness, just like today. Discouragement
would have been as easy in Enoch’s day as it is in our world
today. However, Enoch had a bright word in a dark hour! He
received a prophecy that would give hope to his generation
and the generations to come. Old Enoch declared it long ago,
and Jude echoed these same words in his time, and they
reverberate today! Yes, they found a bright word for their dark
hour, and we receive encouragement in our day. Jesus is
coming soon! He is coming first in the Rapture and then will
return in the Revelation! The church will be taken out and this
old world will experience God’s wrath.
What a day it will be when Christ Jesus rules here on earth.
It may look dark now, but a brighter day is coming! We must
ensure others are ready, watching for the Lord’s return. We
have a bright word for this dark hour-Jesus Saves! And, He
