| STOP CALLING THEM THAT! “Words are thee fingers that mold the minds of men.”CHARLES CURTMAN Words are important. They are, as someone said, “the fingers that mold the minds of men.” So, it’s important that we use the most appropriately descriptive words possible when referring to people and things. Americans haven’t paid much attention to the use of words lately, and this has had a negative impact on their ability to think. These are days when sound thinking has never been more important. Therefore, people need to stop calling people and things what they aren’t and start calling them what they are. For example: C.R. Curtman is a reader-supported publication. Stop calling women “ladies” who are not by definition, “ladies.” 3. Stop calling people “protestors,” who are nothing more than insurredtionist, and paid disturbers of the peace, and communists foot soldiers and useful idiots. 4. Stop referring to campus rabble-rousers as highly educated young people,” who are, at best poorly educated young dummies, and in many cases, nothing less than treasonous, narcissistic, spoiled brats. 5. Stop calling Islam a “peaceful religion.” 6. Stop those who kill babies for financial, ideological, and the gratification of someone’s convenience, “abortionists” and “doctors.” 7. Stop calling indoctrination mills “public schools.” 8. Stop calling propagandists, “journalists.” 9. Stop calling people “educators” who are nothing more than ideologues and societal misfits. 10. Stop calling parent prevention via infanticide, “Planned Parenthood.” C.R. Curtman is a reader-supported publication.
