THINGS THE WICKED DO DEMONSTRATED BY CONGRESSIONAL DEMOCRATS

Shakespeare suggested that the eyes are the windows of a person’s soul, revealing their true emotions, thoughts and inner character. The Bible says that, “The heart of a man changeth his countenance, whether it be for good or evil” (Ecc. 13:25).

With the above in mind, everyone should go to YouTube and look carefully at the faces of Democrats during the recent State of the Union address. If anything can be read from a person’s countenance, and much can, the countenances of the Democrats during the SOTU address are chilling.

If I were going to speak publicly on how Democrat Party members of Congress exemplify the wicked of this world, the outline of my message would look something like this:

I. SOMETHING VERY TELLING CAN BE SEEN IN THEIR FACES

A. Their countenances express how dark their world is, (Matt. 6:23).

1. The inexplicable malice is that is often revealed in the countenances of the wicked

2. The inner misery thta is often revealed in the countenances of the wicked

Note: The President was right when he looked at congressional Democrats and said, “These people are crazy.” They are “crazy”—people who have been made stark-raving, sickeningly crazy by the sin they have embraced and been embraced by; sin that has seeped into their brains and rotted out their souls. (John 3:19).

B. Their countenances express how defiant they are, (Ps. 2; Acts 13:10).

1. They are defiant against God, (Ps 14:1).

2. They are defiant against those that are good, (1 Tim 3:3).

II. SOMETHING VERY TERRIFYING THAT CAN BE SEEN IN THEIR FACES

A. Think about the capacity these people have manifested for wickedness.

Note: Seen in how they treated their countrymen during the Covid-19 era and on 9/11, and what they tried to do to Trump, and actually did to others. People desperately need to understand that there is no brutality against humanity in general that those who promote and celebrate abortion, are not capable of practicing and justifying.

1. The lies the wicked tell, (Rev. 21:15)

2. The lives the wicked trouble, (Isa. 57:20; Job3:17).

B. Think about the commitment to, and celebration of wickedness that has been manifested relative to wickedness, (Rom. 1:32).

Note: They love, and legislate for, that which God hates.

1. They do all they can to promote what is wicked, (Prov. 1:10-16).

2. They do all they can to protect what is wicked in the sight of God, (Isa. 5:20).

III. SOMETHING VERY TRAGIC THAT CAN BE SEEN IN THEIR FACES

A. THE covenant into which these people have entered. (Isa. 28:15).

1. It is a covenant that keeps them in a state of bondage, (Heb. 2:15;

2. It is a covenant that keeps them in a state of blindness, (2 Cor. 4:4).

B. The consequences these people will suffer

1. These consequences are assured, (Ps. 9:17; 36:1).

2. These consequences can be avoided, (Ezek. 33:11).
