Reading The Long War Against God, by Henry M. Morris is one of the best investments of time I’ve ever made. It’s one of those books that I wish I’d read much sooner; a book I quickly realized that I’d have to read a second time, and one I’m anxious to read again.
The Long War Against God is, in my opinion, the “go to” book for anyone who wants a thorough understanding of the history of evolution in terms of its origin and its impact on the way people have thought, and how they think about everything pertaining to life here and the hereafter. It should be in every preacher’s library and checked off their reading list as read as soon as possible.

To read read this book carefully is to receive an in-depth perspective on the origin and operation of our world.” I say: The Long War Against God is 327 pages of commentary on the first verse in the Bible and could properly be considered the “go to” book for understanding the history of evolution (Thousands of years before Charles Darwin) and why evolution is the epitome of what the Bible refers to as “science falsely so called” (1 Tim. 6:20).
The Long War Against God, is both practically informative, and interesting enough to qualify as a “real page turner.” I can’t praise or recommend it too much. It should be read by every Christian, and especially by every pastor, as soon as possible.
