Every time I post something about women’s roles as taught in the Bible, I always get the same response from at least one person. “Why do you pick on women, show what the Bible says about the man’s role too.” When I first started preaching I found that there are three passages that list the roles of men and women. They all present the roles in the same order. Ephesians 5:22-33, Colossians 3:18-20, and 1 Peter 3:1-7 all begin with the woman’s role first.
