Husbands are NEVER Commanded to Submit to Their Wives \u2013 The Transformed Wife<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

HUSBANDS ARE NEVER COMMANDED TO SUBMIT TO THEIR WIVES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every institution on this planet has a leader, a boss. Marriage is no different. Two heads create a monster. A husband is head of his wife, and the wife is commanded to live in submission to her husband. It\u2019s God\u2019s perfectly ordained order for marriage, but many rebel against this. They use Ephesians 5:21 to say a husband is commanded to submit to his wife. This isn\u2019t biblical. I will take you through the Bible in order to prove to you God\u2019s ordained order in marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Genesis 2:18 we are told that God said, \u201cIt is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.\u201d The woman was created to be a help meet suitable for her husband. This shows order right here. The man wasn\u2019t created for the woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part of the curse after the Fall was that the husband shall \u201crule over his wife\u201d (Genesis 3:16). Before the Fall, he was the one in authority but they were both sinless so he didn\u2019t \u201crule\u201d over her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, we come to the New Testament. In 1 Corinthians 11:2, we have this: \u201cBut I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then this: \u201cFor a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of god: but the woman is the glory of the man\u201d (1 Corinthians 11:7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next few verses: \u201cFor the man is not of the woman; but the woman is of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1 Corinthians 14:35, we are told: \u201cAnd if they [women] will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving right along, in Ephesians 5, we have these verses: \u201cWives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. Therefore, as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husband in every thing\u2026And the wife see that she reverence her husband.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Colossians 3:18, we\u2019re told, \u201cWives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Timothy 2:11-13: \u201cLet the women learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence, For Adam was first formed, then Eve.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Titus 2:4,5, the aged women are commanded to teach the young women to be \u201cobedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lastly, in 1 Peter 3, we have the following verses: \u201cLikewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear\u2026For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
