Daily Devotion in Psalm 92 (devotionsfromthebible.com)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Daily View Devotion<\/strong>\u200aThe intent of this publication is to provide daily encouragement and to biblically educate the child of God. Feeding on truths from God’s Word will strengthen and help believers. (Only the KJV is used!)<\/em>

\ufeffDaily Devotion in Psalm 92<\/strong>Don’t have time to stop and read the devotions,<\/em><\/strong> t<\/em>hen<\/em>  <\/strong>HEAR the Devotion<\/a>.HEAR<\/a> <\/strong>the DAILY VIEW devotion on WLVF (after the 6 AM EST news).<\/em><\/strong>Daily Nugget:<\/strong>Although this song was attended to be sung on the Sabbath, today\u2019s believers who now worship on Sunday also need to practice what this Psalm teaches. We need to be thankful for all God has done and will do for us.\u201cA Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:\u201d Psalm 92:1<\/em>
We are quick to ask for help and blessings from God, but we are lax in being grateful for what He has done. Thank him for what He has accomplished through the day (Psalm 92:2). Be happy for the victories He has allowed you to have (Psalm 92:4). God is good, and we would have nothing if it were not for His wondrous works in our lives (Psalm 92:5).
Unfortunately, many take what God has given them and what He has allowed them to accomplish for granted. After their food is served, one can watch some of them in a restaurant dive into their meals like animals (\u201cbrutish\u201d \u2014 Psalm 92:6). Never do they stop to thank God for the food and the money to purchase it. 
There are also foolish folks (Psalm 92:6) who attribute all that they see on this glorious Earth to the mythical, unproven \u201ctheory of evolution.\u201d Some explain the Earth\u2019s existence, and all that is found on it, was formed by accident. They indeed do not praise or thank God for much, if anything. Despite the intelligence they claim to have, they have no understanding of what God has done (Psalm 92:6).
We have so much for which to be grateful. We quickly see how much God has adorned us with if any of it is taken away. When some health is lost, we realize how blessed we were to have better health most of our lives. When we cannot buy what we want, we finally understand what God allowed us to have for so many years.
Do not be like the \u201cbrutish\u201d folks, the foolish, or for circumstances to change for the worse before you see what God has allowed you to have and do. Be grateful now. Be thankful for His goodness in your life.

Today\u2019s Reading:<\/strong>Psalm 92<\/em>1 A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:<\/em>2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,<\/em>3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.<\/em>4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.<\/em>5 O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.<\/em>6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.<\/em>7 \u00b6 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:<\/em>8 But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.<\/em>9 For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.<\/em>10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.<\/em>11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.<\/em>12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.<\/em>13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.<\/em>14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;<\/em>15 To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.<\/em>

<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong>Citizen of Heaven Frauds<\/strong>
\u201cNot every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.\u201d Matthew 7:21-23<\/em>
Many illegal American residents are being found guilty of illegal voting and committing voter fraud. One woman was recently convicted of the felony and is serving ten years in prison for her illegal voting. The citizen of Mexico had been convicted because of her voting in the 2008, 2012 and 2016 presidential elections.
The illegal voter managed to steal the identity of a real citizen and use that identification to help vote a government official into office. She is one of many guilty of attempting to have a say in a government she is not even a citizen of.
As dishonest as that is, there are many attempting to do the same thing by making themselves and others believe that they are future citizens of Heaven, yet are not.  They talk like a Christian, go to places a Christian should go, act like a Christian, and even carry a Bible proudly. They make their opinion about the things of God known as if they have the authority and right to do so. However, with all their charades and appearances of religious activities, they are not Christians at all.
The Bible even declares that there are so many of these impostors, that they are the majority. The way to having the promise to Heaven is not the widely accepted way.\u201cEnter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.\u201d Matthew 7:13-14<\/em>
Heaven is not obtained by doing good works which most false religions promote. No one can earn Heaven. Unless one does what God commands one must do, one will never spend eternity with God.
God\u2019s way of getting to Heaven is first to recognize one is a sinner. Despite what so many believe about themselves, there is none that are good. All have sinned and because of their iniquities cannot go to Heaven.\u201cFor all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;\u201d Romans. 3:23<\/em>\u201cAs it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:\u201d Rom. 3:10<\/em>
Once one realizes what he is in God\u2019s eyes, a sinner, the next realization needs to be to understand that there is nothing anyone can do to get to get rid of all one\u2019s sins. However, God knows what we are, and gave us a way to escape Hell.God sent His only Son, Jesus, whose sacrificial death is the only payment for our sins He will accept. No one\u2019s good works or deeds are sufficient to pay for their sins.
\u201cFor by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.\u201d Ephesians 2:8-9When one finally understands who he is and trusts that Christ\u2019s payment is enough to pay for all sins, there is one remaining step that must be done to have God\u2019s promise of eternity with Him. That is to ask to be forgiven and saved from Hell.\u201cThat if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.\u201d Rom. 10:9<\/em>\u201cFor whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.\u201d Rom. 10:13<\/em>
After one has believed what God says about his sinful situation and trusted Christ\u2019s sacrifice, he is saved, or as the Bible describes it, \u201cborn again.\u201d He then can know he will one day be a citizen of Heaven and will not be an imposter as so many are. His Christianity will be real and he will not be guilty of the heavenly felony of fraud.

The Log Jam<\/strong>Today<\/em>
In the timberlands, springtime saw great quantities of logs shooting down the rivers on their way to the sawmills. Sometimes a jam occurred. The lumberjack then sought the log which stopped the wooden tide from moving. When he found that key log, he jerked it out of place, and the flow of logs continued to move onward with its freight. 
There is such a thing as a spiritual log jam. We lose our religious enthusiasm and interest in personal devotion. An hour in the Lord\u2019s house becomes a bore, and the Bible becomes a silent Book. Then we must find the critical sin log stopping the flood in our spiritual life. It may be an unforgiving spirit, jealousy, anger, lust, or hypocrisy. Whatever it is, jerk the obstruction out of place, and spiritual vitality will surge onward again.
