People can be saved from reading the RSV,\nthe NIV, and many other Bible versions just as they can be saved from gospel\ntracts or by conversations.  The problem\nis spiritual growth.  Modern versions\nteach that Jesus was an imperfect, lying sinner.  An imperfect sacrifice could not pay the\nprice for our sins; the modern Jesus cannot save.  As Christians leave milk behind and move on\nto strong meat (Heb. 5:14<\/a>[1]<\/a>), accurate Scripture becomes more and more\nimportant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flaws in the\nModern Jesus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this\nfeast: for my time is not yet full come. \nJohn 7:8<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NIV, ESV, NASB, and RSV omit the word \u201cyet.\u201d  Their Jesus lied: He went to the feast (Jn.\n7:9-10[2]<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These versions say that Jesus sinned when He was angry.  The KJB doesn\u2019t:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother\nwithout a cause shall be in danger of the <\/p>\n\n\n\n

judgment:  Matthew\n5:22a <\/strong>(KJB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NIV, ESV, NASB, and RSV took out \u201cwithout a cause.\u201d  Their Jesus sinned by being angry (Mk. 3:5[3]<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down\nupon your wrath:  Ephesians 4:26<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Righteous anger is not<\/em>\na sin.  Leaving out \u201cwithout a cause\u201d\ndenies Jesus\u2019 sinless perfection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father\nwhich hath sent him.  John 5:23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can the <\/a>Modern Jesus Save?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Moses\u2019 Law told Jews to sacrifice unblemished, valuable animals to\nanticipate Jesus, the coming Perfect Savior. \nMalachi 1:8[4]<\/a>\ntells of God\u2019s anger at being offered inferior animals.  1 Peter 1:19-21[5]<\/a>\nexplains that Jesus lived a sinless life and fulfilled Moses\u2019 law (Mt. 5:18[6]<\/a>,\nLk. 21:32[7]<\/a>)\nto become the perfect<\/em> sacrifice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leviticus 12 explains how a mother needed 33 days of\npurification after circumcising a son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying\nthree and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary,\nuntil the days of her purifying be fulfilled.  Leviticus 12:4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joseph and Jesus\u2019 mother fulfilled the law:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when the days of her purification according to\nthe law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present\nhim to the Lord;  Luke 2:22<\/strong> (KJB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RSV, ESV, and NASB say \u201ctheir purification\u201d in\nLuke 2:22.  This error makes no sense:\nMoses\u2019 Law said that one person, the mother, needed purification after giving\nbirth, not the father and the baby.  A\nJesus who needed purification could not be a perfect sacrifice; imperfect blood\ncouldn\u2019t save anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every word<\/em> of the\nBible was inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Pe. 1:21[8]<\/a>, 2\nTim. 3:16[9]<\/a>).  The RSV, ESV and NASB say \u201cher purification\u201d\nin Leviticus 12 and \u201ctheir purification\u201d in Luke 2:22.  The Holy Spirit makes no mistakes; heretics\ndeliberately corrupted the Sinaiticus<\/em>\nand Vaticanus <\/em>manuscripts to deny\nJesus\u2019 perfect sacrifice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NIV hides this issue, \u201cWhen the time came for the purification\nrites required by the Law of Moses…\u201d \nThat is not<\/em> translation; it\u2019s\na way to avoid the error the translators saw in the manuscript.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those\nthings which were spoken of him.  Luke 2:33<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RSV, ESV, and NASB use \u201cchild\u2019s father.\u201d  This means that Mary became pregnant by\nJoseph out of wedlock.  This denies that\nJesus was the only Begotten Son of God and makes Jesus participate in Adam\u2019s\nsin:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and\ndeath by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have\nsinned:  Romans 5:12<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall\nall be made alive.  I Corinthians 15:22<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The KJB shows that Joseph was not<\/em> Jesus father, Jesus was not<\/em>\na bastard or a child of fornication (Mt. 1:18-21[10]<\/a>),\nand sin did not<\/em> pass upon Him.  His resurrection shows that He has the power\nto make us all alive again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God No Longer Came In The Flesh<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Newer versions substitute of hos<\/em>\n(he) for theos<\/em> (God) in Paul\u2019s letter\nto Timothy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:\nGod (theos<\/em>) was manifest in the flesh,\njustified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on\nin the world, received up into glory.  I\nTimothy 3:16 <\/strong>(KJB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NIV, ESV, NASB, and RSV refer to \u201che (hos<\/em>)\u201d being manifest or revealed in the\nflesh instead of God.  A man being seen\nin a human body is no mystery – anyone born of woman is manifest or revealed or\nseen in the flesh.  The mystery is God<\/em> appearing in a human body that\nsuffered hunger, weariness, and pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits\nwhether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the\nworld. 2<\/sup>Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth\nthat Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3<\/sup>And every spirit that\nconfesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and\nthis is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and\neven now already is it in the world. \nI John 4:1-3 <\/strong>(KJB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newer versions \u201cconfesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in\nthe flesh\u201d so they are not of God. \nWeakening the doctrine of salvation through a perfect sacrifice of the\nSon of God who appeared in the flesh and walked among people in a human body is\ncondemned in Deu. 4:2[11]<\/a>\nand Rev. 22:19[12]<\/a>.  This is \u201cthat spirit of antichrist.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines,\nwhere Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of\nGoliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam.  II Samuel 21:19 <\/strong>(KJB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RSV, NIV, ESV, and NASB leave out \u201cthe brother of\u201d and\nsay that Elhanan slew Goliath.  1 Sam. 21:9[13]<\/a> says\nthat David slew Goliath.  How can\n\u201cbibles\u201d with mistakes like this be \u201cmore accurate\u201d than the KJB?\n\nSee\nhttps:\/\/successful-marriage.blogspot.com\/2021\/06\/why-we-use-king-james-version-kjv.html<\/a>

[1]<\/a>\nBut strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason\nof use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.  Hebrews 5:14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[2]<\/a>\nWhen he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee. 10<\/sup>But\nwhen his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly,\nbut as it were in secret.  John 7:9-10<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[5]<\/a>\nBut with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish\nand without spot: 20<\/sup>Who verily was foreordained before the\nfoundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21<\/sup>Who\nby him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory;\nthat your faith and hope might be in God.  I Peter 1:19-21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[6]<\/a>\nFor verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall\nin no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  Matthew 5:18<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[7]<\/a>\nVerily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.  Luke 21:32<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[8]<\/a>\nFor the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God\nspake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. \nII Peter 1:21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[9]<\/a>\nAll scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for\nreproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  II Timothy 3:16<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[11]<\/a>\nYe shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought\nfrom it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command\nyou.  Deuteronomy 4:2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[12]<\/a>\nAnd if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God\nshall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and\nfrom the things which are written in this book. \nRevelation 22:19<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
