T<\/strong>he New Marxism or New Left has been operating for a very long time to destroy the \u201cold America\u201d and to create a new America after the image of Marx\u2019s vague, deluded, continually discredited, ever-changing vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marxism is only one of the destructive elements operating in America and worldwide, but it is a major one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christopher Rufo is the author of America\u2019s Cultural Revolution: How the Radical Left Conquered Everything<\/em>, an excellent overview of the history, principles, and operation of the New Left. It is must-reading for understanding what is happening in America today (though like most conservatives, Rufo doesn\u2019t understand fundamental spiritual and biblical issues). America\u2019s Cultural Revolution<\/em> explains the roots of Black Lives Matter and the critical theories that have permeated the educational system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rufo identifies the \u201cfour prophets of the revolution as Herbert Marcuse (1898-1979). Angela Davis (b. 1944), Paulo Freire 1921-1997), and Derrick Bell (1930-2011). \u201cThese figures established the disciplines of critical theory, critical praxis, critical pedagogy, and critical race theory, which, in the subsequent half century, multiplied into a hundred subdisciplines and devoured the university, the street, the school, and the bureaucracy\u201d (America\u2019s Cultural Revolution<\/em>, p. 2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Left has been very successful. It has infiltrated every aspect of the American government. It has leavened public education from kindergarten to university. It has permeated Fortune 100 corporations, which are pushing the very philosophy that will destroy the economic liberty that built them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rufo describes what has happened in the past half century:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDuring the 1970s, the most violent elements of the New Left coalition–the Weather Underground, the Black Panther Party, and Black Liberation Army–fell apart, but the spirit of their revolution carried on in a subtler but equally dangerous form … the most sophisticated activists and intellectuals of the New Left initiated a new strategy, the \u2018long march through the institutions,\u2019 which brought their movement out of the streets and into the universities, schools, newsrooms, and bureaucracies. They developed intricate theories along the lines of culture, race, and identity, and silently rooted them into the entire range of America\u2019s knowledge-making institutions. Over the subsequent decades, the cultural revolution that began inn 1968 transformed, almost invisibly, into a structural revolution that changed everything. The critical theories, first developed by Marcuse, Davis, Freire, and Bell, were not designed to operate as mere abstractions. They were designed as political weapons and oriented toward the acquisition of power\u201d (America\u2019s Cultural Revolution<\/em>, p. 3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marxism has failed wherever it has been tried, and it will always fail. It must fail, because it is founded upon lies: the Bible is not true; there is no almighty Creator God; man is not a fallen creature in need of a Saviour, but is a blank slate that can be molded into a \u201cnew man.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marxism will always fail because it has a false interpretation of history, a false understanding of economics, and a false understanding of man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

America needs to get back to the Word of God which once made it a great nation. Marxist philosophy has never built anything good and right in its 175 year history but rather has left behind a heritage of confusion, mayhem, totalitarian enslavement, and death. \u201cRevolutionary Marxism still holds the record for having deceived, enslaved, terrorized, imprisoned, tortured, and murdered more millions of people than any other ideology. The Leninist and Maoist interpreters of Karl Marx sacrificed over 160 million<\/em> civilians on the altar of global equality. And that\u2019s the conservative estimate\u201d (Christopher Haun, The Eight Spectres of Karl Marx in the 21st Century<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fundamental problem in America is the apostasy of its churches. The failure of churches over the past century to preach and teach God\u2019s Word faithfully and without fear, to maintain a regenerate membership, and to produce true pilgrim disciples of Jesus Christ has created widespread biblical illiteracy with the resulting lack of wisdom and spiritual and moral discernment. It has created a spiritual and moral void in which every sort of error propagates. The rise of the New Marxism exactly parallels the downgrade of America\u2019s churches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Word of God can bring true heart-level change of character, racial harmony, generational accord, economic wisdom, stability in home and government. It teaches mercy, forgiveness, kindness, peace, gentleness, and goodness. It teaches true wisdom to mothers and fathers and youth and political leaders and law enforcement personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It taught Samuel Armstrong, Booker T. Washington, George Washington Carver, and a great many others to reject hatred and to embrace love for their fellow man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI learned this lesson from General Samuel Chapman Armstrong [head of the school where Booker T. was educated], and resolved that I would permit no man, no matter what his color might be, to narrow and degrade my soul by making me hate him. With God’s help, I believe that I have completely rid myself of any ill feeling toward the Southern white man for any wrong that he may have inflicted upon my race. I am made to feel just as happy now when I am rendering service to Southern white men as when the service is rendered to a member of my own race. I pity from the bottom of my heart any individual who is so unfortunate as to get into the habit of holding race prejudice\u201d (Booker T. Washington, Up from Slavery<\/em>, 1901).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn the sight of God there is no color line, and we want to cultivate a spirit that will make us forget that there is such a line anyway\u201d (Up from Slavery<\/em>, 1901).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe man is unwise who does not cultivate in every manly way the friendship and goodwill of his next-door neighbor, whether he be black or white\u201d (Up from Slavery<\/em>, 1901).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGreat men cultivate love … Only little men cherish a spirit of hatred\u201d (Up from Slavery<\/em>, 1901).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cKeep your hand in that of the Master, walk daily by His side, so that you may lead others into the realms of true happiness, where a religion of hate, (which poisons both body and soul) will be unknown, having in its place the \u2018Golden Rule\u2019 way, which is the \u2018Jesus Way\u2019 of life, will reign supreme\u201d (George W. Carver, 1927).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following is a Bible lesson for New Leftists. These are some of the great truths of God\u2019s Word that are far wiser than any form of Marxism. These are eternal truths. They can be ignored and denied, but they cannot be destroyed and they will not fail.
<\/strong>
There is an almighty Creator God, and all men are created in God\u2019s image and have descended from the first man, Adam. There is only one \u201crace\u201d of men.
<\/strong>
\u201cThine, O LORD, is<\/em> the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is<\/em> in the heaven and in the earth is thine;<\/em> thine is<\/em> the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all\u201d (1 Chronicles 29:11<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo God created man in his own<\/em> image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them\u201d (Genesis 1:27<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGod that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring\u201d (Acts 17:24-28<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All men are responsible to the one Creator God and will give account to God.
<\/strong>
\u201cLet us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is<\/em> the whole duty<\/em> of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be<\/em> good, or whether it be<\/em> evil\u201d (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14<\/a>).

The Bible does not address a sin of \u201cracism,\u201d but it does address the sins of pride, malice, envy, hate, murder, kidnapping, ingratitude, and many other such things. The sin nature inherited from Adam is man\u2019s root problem.
<\/strong>
\u201cThe heart is<\/em> deceitful above all things,<\/em> and desperately wicked: who can know it?\u201d ( Jeremiah 17:9<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBecause that, when they knew God, they glorified him<\/em> not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools\u201d (Romans 1:21-22<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness\u201d (Mark 7:21-22<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeing filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them\u201d (Romans 1:29-32<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese six things<\/em> doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are<\/em> an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that<\/em> speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren\u201d (Proverbs 6:16-19<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All men are equally sinners before God and equally condemned.

<\/strong>\u201cFor all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God\u201d (Romans 3:23<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat then? are we better than they?<\/em> No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is<\/em> an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is<\/em> under their lips: Whose mouth is<\/em> full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are<\/em> swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are<\/em> in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes\u201d (Romans 3:9-18<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nations have been wicked since their origin in the days of Cain and his descendants<\/strong>. Every nation has been corrupted because its citizens are sinners. There has not been a fully righteous, totally just nation on earth since man\u2019s fall.<\/strong>Nations are imperfect because men are imperfect.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence\u201d (Genesis 6:11<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

History describes many ancient nations–such as Egypt, Elam, Edom, Hittites, Philistines, Canaanites, Midianites, Phoenicia, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, Bantu, Yoruba, Nok, Ashanti, Aztec, Inca, Apache, Navaho, Hun, Mongol–and all were unrighteous. All of them practiced slavery. There was no economic equality, no social equality, no equality in justice. To demand perfection of America is mindless utopianism that ignores the reality of the entire human history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The consequences of sin cannot be escaped even in this present life.
<\/strong>
The consequences of sin cannot be avoided, no matter how stoutly one rejects God. The Bible can be denied and ignored, but its truth cannot be escaped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBe not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap\u201d (Galatians 6:7<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cbe sure your sin will find you out\u201d (Numbers 32:23<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known\u201d (Luke 12:2<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWoe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are<\/em> wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!\u201d (Isaiah 5:20-21<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHis mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate\u201d (Psalm 7:16<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe heathen are sunk down in the pit that<\/em> they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken\u201d(Proverbs 9:15<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail\u201d (Proverbs 22:8<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him\u201d (Proverbs 26:27<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him\u201d (Ecclesiastes 10:8<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things<\/em> in possession\u201d (Proverbs 28:10<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYe have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men\u201d (Hosea 10:13<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel\u201d (Romans 2:16<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c… the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts\u201d (1 Corinthians 4:5<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage\u201d (2 Peter 2:19<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All men can be saved and changed, reconciled to God and reconciled to their fellow man. This is the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Only the gospel has the power to change men\u2019s hearts and create a \u201cnew man.\u201d Only the gospel brings true liberation.
<\/strong>
\u201cFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved\u201d (John 3:16-17<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is<\/em> by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference\u201d (Romans 3:21-22<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCome unto me, all ye<\/em> that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is<\/em> easy, and my burden is light\u201d (Matthew 11:28-30<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTherefore if any man be<\/em> in Christ, he is<\/em> a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new\u201d (2 Corinthians 5:17<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed\u201d (John 8:36<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then<\/em> are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free\u201d (John 8:31-32<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God\u2019s Word is the only infallible standard of right and good, of truth and justice.
<\/strong>
Marxists want to tear down existing society and build a new one, but what is a good society? The Creator alone knows what is right for man, and He has revealed this in the Scripture. Good must be measured by the Bible rightly divided or interpreted. When man tries to rule himself by his own thinking, there is confusion and every evil work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cO LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps\u201d (Jer. 10:23<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThy word is<\/em> a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path\u201d (Psalm 119:5<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe law of the LORD is<\/em> perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is<\/em> sure, making wise the simple.  The statutes of the LORD are<\/em> right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is<\/em> pure, enlightening the eyes\u201d (Psalm 19:7-8<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe wise men<\/em> are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is<\/em> in them?\u201d (Jeremiah 8:9<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then<\/em> are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free\u201d (John 8:31-32<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God\u201d (Matthew 22:29<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus Christ came to teach men the law of love, which is the foundation of God\u2019s law and the solution for all of man\u2019s problems.
<\/strong>
\u201cThese things I command you, that ye love one another\u201d (John 15:17<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOwe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be<\/em> any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is<\/em> the fulfilling of the law\u201d (Romans 13:8-10<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses\u201d (Matthew 6:14-15<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you\u201d (Matthew 5:44<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rage, hatred, robbery, rampage, and killing are evil in God\u2019s eyes. There is no justification for these things in God\u2019s Word. They are never righteous.

<\/strong>\u201cThou shalt not kill\u201d (Exodus 10:13<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThou shalt not steal\u201d (Exodus 20:15<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is<\/em> thy neighbour\u2019s\u201d (Exodus 20:17<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is<\/em> no transgression; the same is<\/em> the companion of a destroyer\u201d (Proverbs 28:24<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA man that doeth violence to the blood of any<\/em> person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him\u201d (Proverbs 28:17<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit: We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil: Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. And they lay wait for their own<\/em> blood; they lurk privily for their own<\/em> lives. So are<\/em> the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which<\/em> taketh away the life of the owners thereof\u201d (Proverbs 1:10-19<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anarchist movements are prophesied in the Bible and are condemned.
<\/strong>
\u201cThis know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. … But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men,<\/em> as theirs also was\u201d (2 Timothy 3:1-4<\/a>, 9<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and<\/em> meddle not with them that are given to change: For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?\u201d (Proverbs 24:21-22<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere is<\/em> a generation that<\/em> curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. There is<\/em> a generation that are<\/em> pure in their own eyes, and yet<\/em> is not washed from their filthiness. There is<\/em> a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. There is<\/em> a generation, whose teeth are as<\/em> swords, and their jaw teeth as<\/em> knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among<\/em> men\u201d (Proverbs 30:11-14<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The so-called \u201cnuclear family\u201d is a divine institution. It was created by God at the dawn of man\u2019s history. It is composed of a man and a woman joined together in holy matrimony, committed to one another for life, plus the offspring of that couple. This institution has been recognized universally for the full length of man\u2019s history until this present generation.

<\/strong>\u201cAnd he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them<\/em> at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder\u201d (Jesus Christ, Matthew 19:4-6<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bible prophesies of a false Christianity that will bring reproach upon the name of Jesus Christ.

The Lord Jesus Christ warned of the coming of false teachers who will be clothed in wolves in sheep\u2019s clothing, and they will bear evil fruit (Matthew 7:15-20<\/a>). Christ\u2019s apostles warned of the same thing. \u201cFor the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their<\/em> ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables\u201d (2 Timothy 4:3-4<\/a>). Peter also warned of these false Christians: \u201cBut there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies … And many shall
by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of\u201d (2 Peter 2:1-2<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These and many other prophecies describe the coming of false Christianity built by false prophets. It will pretend to believe in Christ and follow the Bible, but instead it follows man\u2019s false tradition and thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These prophecies were fulfilled in the Roman Catholic Church, Greek Orthodoxy, and other false Christianities. When men look at history and talk about \u201cthe church,\u201d more often than not, they are looking at false Christianity that is condemned by God\u2019s Word. This is the Christianity of popes and bishops and priests and friars and sacraments and infant baptisms and and indulgences and pilgrimages and cathedrals and inquisitions and crusades and conquistadores and colonialization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The true churches that Christ established by His apostles are simple entities composed of born again Christians who have experienced the miracle of salvation. Jesus called them the \u201clittle flock\u201d (Luke 12:32<\/a>). True churches of Jesus Christ are not impressive in the world\u2019s sight. They are typically composed of the lower segment of society, not of the high and mighty. This is what the apostle Paul said to the church at Corinth: \u201cFor ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:<\/em> But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty\u201d (1 Corinthians 1:26-27<\/a>). Each true church has its own pastors and business. There is no worldly headquarters. The true churches are pilgrim churches. Their citizenship is in heaven and they seek no kingdom in this present world. They aim to shine as lights in the darkness of this present age by proclaiming the gospel, by bearing witness to the truth of God\u2019s Word, and by holy living, and they are waiting for Christ\u2019s return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many examples of true churches are given in the book of Acts and in the New Testament epistles. For example, consider the church at Thessalonica, a major city of ancient Rome. \u201cFor they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even<\/em> Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come\u201d (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be no utopia on this earth until Jesus Christ establishes His kingdom, and it will be a kingdom of truth and righteousness. It will be established by God\u2019s almighty power, not by man\u2019s feeble efforts.

<\/strong>\u201cImmediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other\u201d (Matthew 24:29-31<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his<\/em> government and peace there shall be<\/em> no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this\u201d (Isaiah 9:6-7<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christ\u2019s kingdom is described in many prophecies, such as the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGive the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son. He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. … He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. … In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. … Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him<\/em> that hath no helper. He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight\u201d (Psalm 72: 1-2<\/a>, 4<\/a>, 7<\/a>, 8<\/a>, 11<\/a>, 12<\/a>, 13<\/a>, 14<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only those who are born again will see Christ\u2019s kingdom.

\u201cJesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God\u201d (John 3:3<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
