My tips for a lifelong marriage on my 43rd wedding anniversary ~<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Marry a believer in Jesus Christ
\u2022 Learn from a godly, older woman
\u2022 Forgive freely
\u2022 Pour love and grace upon him
\u2022 Don\u2019t expect him to make you happy
\u2022 Don\u2019t hold grudges
\u2022 Don\u2019t get your feelings hurt
\u2022 No pity parties
\u2022 Don\u2019t quarrel nor manipulate
\u2022 Give sexual intimacy freely
\u2022 Submit to and respect him
\u2022 Don\u2019t need the last word
\u2022 Don\u2019t need to be right
\u2022 Don\u2019t try to control or change him
\u2022 Smile at him often
\u2022 Stay in shape as best as you can
\u2022 Work hard in your home
\u2022 Listen when he talks
\u2022 Fix his favorite foods
\u2022 Dress to please him
\u2022 Don\u2019t be moody and irritable
\u2022 Find your joy in Christ
\u2022 Be warm and pleasant
\u2022 Be in the Word daily
\u2022 Pray for him<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.<\/strong><\/em>
