Christians will fall away (Thes. 2:2-4) and stop walking in God\u2019s old paths (Jer. 6:16) by giving up ancient landmarks (Pr. 22:28) before the Antichrist is revealed. Satan, the father of lies, asked \u201cYea, hath God said \u2026 (Gen. 3:1)\u201d to deceive Eve by questioning God\u2019s Word in the Garden of Eden (1 Tim. 2:14). Satan has worked to deceive everyone about what God really<\/em> said ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Satan\u2019s servants have always<\/em> denied the fact that Jesus is<\/em> God and has always been God:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. John 10:31-33<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Westcott and Hort, who led the wave of new \u201cbible\u201d versions, were honest about their unbelief:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn matters of textual criticism, the Bible is to be treated like any other ancient book<\/strong>. No special considerations are to be made concerning its claims of inspiration or preservation<\/strong>.\u201d [emphasis added]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The continuous, unbroken Preservation of Inspired Scripture is an essential doctrine we gave up in the 1880s even though Satan\u2019s servants Westcott and Hort told the truth<\/em> about their unbelief! Modern scholars (2 Tim. 3:5-7) deny divine inspiration and deny divine preservation of God\u2019s Word. Their corrupt manuscripts throw doubt on Jesus\u2019 sinless perfection and suggest that His imperfect blood can\u2019t pay the price for our sins. Corrupted versions describe \u201canother Jesus (2 Cor. 11:4)\u201d who can\u2019t save anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oldest Manuscript<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The KJB translators drew on a Greek manuscript called the \u201cReceived Text\u201d or Textus<\/em> Receptus<\/em> (TR) which has been traced back to apostolic times.  Modernists say the Codex Sinaiticus<\/em> and Vaticanus<\/em> manuscripts promoted by Westcott and Hort in the late 1800s were hidden in the 4th<\/sup> century and \u201crecovered\u201d in the 19th<\/sup>.  They are the oldest manuscripts, they say, so a translation based on them is \u201cbetter\u201d than the KJB.  They are filled with errors, crossouts, and disagree with each other 3,000 times in the gospels alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bible tells us that we\u2019re not supposed to move ancient landmarks (Pr. 22:8).  Newer \u201cbible\u201d translations teach an imperfect Jesus who cannot save.  Those who excuse mistakes in these versions blaspheme the Holy Spirit \u2013 you can see the errors in the English:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modernists say that the pure, inspired Words of God were lost in the 4th<\/sup> century until they were recovered by scholars in the 19th<\/sup>.  \u201cScholars\u201d who promote this idea are pagan idolaters who reject the Divine nature of Scripture:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is unbelief, pure and simple.  They mock God\u2019s many promises to preserve His Word so that it would be continuously available from generation to generation forever.  This documents God\u2019s promises to preserve His word.  Did God do that, or is He a liar?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Version Confusion<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Satan isn\u2019t able to destroy the Word of God, but he can bring about so many different versions that it\u2019s hard for people to find the true word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.  I Corinthians 14:33<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God is not the author of confusion, so we know that this confusion cannot be of God.  There are only two sides, so we know where the confusion originated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to being hidden for more than 1,000 years, the manuscripts from which new versions come are of exceptionally poor quality.  This discusses their many corrections and erasures to show that what \u201cscholars\u201d like Westcott and Hort and other anti-KJB people call the \u201cbest manuscripts\u201d cannot be the Word of God.  They contain parts of the Word of God, but can\u2019t be trusted to reveal the whole counsel of God (Acts 20:27):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Oxford English Dictionary shows that the English<\/em> word \u201cbaptize\u201d was used to describe a religious sacrament as early as 1297, centuries before the KJB was translated.  It is unlike the non-religious Greek word which has secular meanings such as \u201cimmerse\u201d or \u201cwash.\u201d  \u201cImmerse\u201d was translated to a well-established English word, not transliterated to a sound-alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE BIBLE DECLARES THAT THE EARTH IS THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Scripture tells us that Christians will fall away (Thes. 2:2-4) and stop walking in God\u2019s old paths (Jer. 6:16) before the Antichrist is revealed.  We gave up the doctrine of earth being the center of the universe in the 1680s.  Galileo\u2019s telescope showed him Jupiter\u2019s moons orbiting Jupiter.  He declared that the earth orbits around the sun even though the Bible tells us that the earth cannot be moved<\/em> (Ps. 93:1)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ancient Greeks proposed the theory of evolution.  That heresy couldn\u2019t get far as long as God\u2019s people understood that God has special love for the earth (Jn. 3:16) and that He put it immovably in the center of His creation.  Galileo began the process of seeing the earth as one minor dust mote among billions.  This made it easier for Christians to abandon the doctrine of 6-day creation in favor of the evolution heresy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bible has more verses telling us that the earth doesn\u2019t move and that everything goes around the earth than verses commanding us to love God!  Science tells us that we can put the center of the universe wherever we like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe know that the difference between a heliocentric (sun-centered) theory and a geocentric (earth-centered) theory is one of relative motion only<\/strong>, and that such a difference has no physical significance<\/strong>.\u201d  Sir Fred Hoyle, Astronomy and Cosmology, A Modern Course,<\/em> (San Francisco, W. H. Freeman & Co., 1975) p 416  [emphasis added]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All motion is relative, so the idea of what goes around what has no physical<\/em> meaning.  There is no conflictbetween what science says and Scripture saying that the sun goes around the earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scripture tells us that the entire universe revolves around the earth; science says that what goes around what doesn\u2019t matter.  We may say that we believe and honor the Word of God with our lips (Mt. 15:8), but do we have enough faith in God to believe His Word in our hearts?  This paper shows what science says and explains how it has no conflict with what God says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having opened the temple veil so ordinary people can approach Him, God receives a woman<\/em> whenever she wishes.  This was revolutionary, nobody imagined ordinary people approaching God without permission, especially not women.  Did Christianity succeed on its merits, or was there another driving force?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some say that Jesus\u2019 resurrection drove His followers to risk their lives to spread His message.  There would be no Christianity without His resurrection, but that wasn\u2019t why they did it.  His resurrection showed His power over death, but that didn\u2019t drive them to spread His gospel, they went fishing instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
