The right view on “The Trail of Blood.” I just wanted to make this note- often this little book has been attacked as not enough documentation etc.(had one or two snipes in this thread) I have even heard some ridicule this as our only proof. It must be noted that this is a brief summation and broad overview and it was intended as such. In under 50 pages you really can not give an excessive amount of documentation. It is in essence a large tract on Baptist History. It was intended to whet the appetite. It was also written in an era when people read extensively- so people would be more inclined to read additional works- DB Ray, JT Christian, Orchard, etc. This is a summation to read more. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admin<\/strong><\/a> \u00b7 December 10 at 12:20 PM<\/abbr><\/a>The History of Baptist Churches From the Time of Christ, Their Founder, to the Present Day During every period of the \u201cDark Ages\u201d there were in existence many Christians and many separate and independent Churches, some of them dating back to the times of the Apostles, which were never in any way connected with the Catholic Church. They always wholly rejected and repudiated the Catholics and their doctrines. These Christians were the perpetual objects of bitter and relentless persecution. History shows that during the period of the \u201cDark Ages,\u201d about twelve centuries, there were about fifty millions of these Christians who died martyr deaths. Very many thousands of others, both preceding and succeeding the \u201cDark Ages,\u201d died under the same hard hand of persecution. Theirs truly was a \u201cTrail of Blood.\u201d This little book is sent forth for the purpose of making known the little-known history of those FAITHFUL WITNESSES of the Lord Jesus, who, as members of the CHURCH JESUS BUILT, \u201cOvercame Satan by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony: and they loved not their lives unto death,\u201d Rev. 12:11.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
