The Transformed Wife<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

1h<\/strong><\/a>  \u00b7 \u201cI must go to college and get a degree in case something happens to my husband!\u201d or \u201cI will never be able to stay home with my children.\u201d TRUTH: \u201cBut my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.\u201d (Philippians 4:19) Do you believe and trust God or don\u2019t you?\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most important thing you need to do while raising your children, women, after teaching them all about Christ and His Word and making sure they obey you is to teach them to be led by Truth rather than by their emotions and feelings. As many of you know, I was extremely ill while I was raising my children. I decided early on that I didn\u2019t want to destroy my children\u2019s childhood, so I decided to learn to take my thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ. This has helped me immensely throughout my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some of the lies women believe with the Truth they need to replace those lies with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, no! I\u2019m pregnant. I cannot have this baby now. It\u2019s a total inconvenience.\u201d TRUTH: \u201cLo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.\u201d (Psalm 127:3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI love having sexual liberation and being able to fornicate without any commitment!\u201d TRUTH: \u201cFlee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.\u201d (1 Corinthians 6:18)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI must go to college and get a degree in case something happens to my husband!\u201d or \u201cI will never be able to stay home with my children.\u201d TRUTH: \u201cBut my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.\u201d (Philippians 4:19)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI can\u2019t handle these children or my marriage. I want out!\u201d TRUTH: \u201cI can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.\u201d (Philippians 4:13)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI feel myself sinking into a deep depression. I just can\u2019t handle life.\u201d TRUTH: \u201cFor the joy of the Lord is your strength.\u201d (Nehemiah 8:10)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMarriage is bondage. There\u2019s no way I ever want to be married.\u201d TRUTH: \u201cWhoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.\u201d (Proverbs 18:22)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am so worried about the future!\u201d TRUTH: \u201cBe careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.\u201d (Philippians 4:6,7)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think I can bear this burden any longer.\u201d TRUTH: \u201cAnd he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.\u201d (2 Corinthians 12:9)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eve was led by her emotions and feelings which led to the downfall of mankind. Most are led by their emotions and feelings rather than by Truth. God promises His children a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). He commands us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Kick out wrong thoughts and replace them with Truth. We are to renew our minds with Truth (Romans 12:2) and be anxious nor worried about anything so we can have the peace of God that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:6,7). These are the glorious promises of God. Teach your children early and often to be led by Truth rather than by their emotions and feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pastor Macarthur should have lived a week with my Mother, who, born in 1931, was bi-polar (therefore, I had three Mothers -and everyday was a surprise about which one I was going to get.) My best friend\u2019s Mother, born in 1925 was schizophrenic. Her parents coped with that by allowing her to marry at 17. She promptly had two children. Her husband divorced her by age 20, and had her institutionalized and also sent his children away to his former in-laws. She spent most of her life in mental wards, until, in the early 2,000\u2019s, drugs were developed that helped control her illness. Of course, she wouldn\u2019t take the drugs. But, she could be forced to take a shot. The shot allowed her re-join society, for the most part. However, the shot wasn\u2019t perfect and wore off towards the end of month. So, she would \u2018receive radio transmissions through transmitters placed in her teeth by the Russians.\u2019 She was a double agent, you know. CIA\/KGB. (This was how she explained the voices in her head to herself.) She was \u2018married to a very wealthy man, so she could spend any amount of money she wanted.\u2019 Leaving her daughter to pay her bills. She also was the illegitimate daughter of FDR and a whole host of extremely interesting things. Both these women were devout Christians, and I know my Mom was in church at least three days a week. She prayed for healing, but it was the burden she had to bear.<\/li>
