“God Takes Notes” “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full ofgrace and truth.” John 1 : 14 The broad brush strokes on history’s canvas often give emphasis to the bloody scenes of tyranny being carried out like a fire across a Kansas wheat field. In the Middle East and other parts of the world, atrocities are being carried out by those who purport ruthless religious ideologies. At this time of invasions, battles and brutality, babies are being born. It is the legacy of the human race. Which child will grow into a ruthless, cold-blooded killer? Which baby will grow to be a great statesman, surgeon, humanitarian, preacher or missionary? Who cares about babies being born when all the noise of politics drowns out their cries? Intrigue, racial tension, increased immorality, sociological change, and military posturing occupy everyone’s attention and conversation. Who noticed a Jewish baby born in a Bethlehem barn long ago? GOD DID! The gift of Mary’s little Lamb impacted the world and still does today. Who cares about your birth? Did your birth make newspaper headlines or mainstream media’s opening story? The gift of Mary’s little Lamb affected you at a point in time, and no \u2022 one on earth noticed, LIKE GOD DID! At a seminal moment in time, Mary’s little Lamb called you to salvation and service. The Word didn’t become a philosophy, a concept, a theory to \u2022 be pondered or debated. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us to be our Saviour, giving abundant and eternal life. \u2014 D.O.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
