“What Makes Us Different?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and
holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the
praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his
marvelous light. ” I Peter 2.9<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bible-believing Baptists have a unique history from the
time of our Lord. There are peculiar characteristics that set us
apart from all other religions. First, we believe the
fundamentals of the New Testament. These include the
Godhead of the Trinity, the deity of Christ, the virgin birth, His
sinless life, vicarious crucifixion, bodily resurrection and
soon second coming. These are bedrock beliefs of Baptists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pivotal factor is the absolute authority of the Holy
Bible. All other religions and denominations use other
authorities, such as, tradition, by-laws, extra-biblical
revelation, etc. Many churches claim they use only the Bible,
but on further examination, their traditions and other writings
desire to change its words. If a church uses any other book
besides the Authorized King James Bible in English, they are
using a flawed book with many errors. There are no mistakes
in God’s preserved Word (see II Tim. 3:16 & 4:2-3). We
thankfully have a perfect Book to preach. Psalm 12:6-7 is a
grand promise and Revelation 22:18-19 is a stern warning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


I believe the A.V. 1611, King James Bible is God’s Word
for the English- speaking people of the world! Plain enough?
