                What is the advantage of the\nLords Table? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mat 25:1-13  Then shall the kingdom of\nheaven be likened unto ten virgins<\/strong>, which took their lamps, and went forth <\/p>\n\n\n\n

to meet the bridegroom. \n(2)  And five of them were wise,\nand five were<\/em> foolish.  (3)  They that <\/em>were<\/em> foolish\ntook their <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

lamps, and took no oil with\nthem:  (4)  But the wise took oil in their vessels with\ntheir lamps.  (5)  While the bridegroom <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

tarried, they all slumbered\nand slept.  (6)  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold,\nthe bridegroom cometh; go ye <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

out to meet him.  (7) \nThen all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.  (8) \nAnd the foolish said unto the wise, <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Give us of your oil; for\nour lamps are gone out.  (9)  But the wise answered, saying, <\/em>Not so;<\/em> lest there be not enough for <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

us and you: but go ye\nrather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.  (10) \nAnd while they went to buy, the bridegroom <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

came; and they that were\nready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.  (11) \nAfterward came also the <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

other  virgins, \nsaying,  Lord,  Lord, \nopen  to  us.  \n(12)   But  he \nanswered  and  said, \nVerily  I  say \nunto  you,  I \nknow  you <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

not.  (13) \nWatch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the\nSon of man cometh. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  Galilean\nWedding <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                      The\nBetrothal <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Meet in the city gates,\n(Elders, Court) <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Town \/ City Witness\n(Covenant) equivalent to exchanging vows today <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Both parties would have\ncopies of the marriage agreement (Vows) <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Exchange gifts. He\nprovides for her to take care of her, and if something should happen to him\nthese gifts would <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  help to take care of her as a widow.  <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  The groom provides for her\noil so  that she  may  go\nout to meet him when he returns for her. However many <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  spend the oil of the night on the pleasures\nof the world so that when Christ returns, they have no oil to go out <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  and meet him and are shut out. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\ngroom would pour the cup of Joy. Wine (Fruit of the vine) into a cup. He would\ndrink of it and then give it to her. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nBride then makes a choice to drink. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is\ncalled a common union. This is where we get communion from. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The groom\nwould say, you are now consecrated to me by the Law of Moses <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will\nnot drink of fruit of this vine until I drink it new with you in my father\u2019s\nhouse. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nGroom would then leave and go home and build on his father\u2019s house a place for\nhis bride. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The groom would not know when he would return\nfor his bride until his father said its time, go get your bride. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                The Groom has\ngone away <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  The groom would be gone\nfor a year to prepare. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Preparation (Groom) has\nthe responsibility for: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  All preparation for the\nfood, clothing. Oil, the wine, the rugs, the oil lamps, etc., <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  The feast would be 7 days\nand 7 nights. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    The Bride\nprepares <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Preparation (Bride)\nmaterials for her garments and the maids <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Buy materials for the\ngarments <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Travel and work for it <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Weave it together <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  She and her brides maids\nwould wear their garments  <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Remain pure, watch and\nwait <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                        The\nFather <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Make sure the son made all\nthe preparations. Only he know the day and the hour. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  He held the marriage\ndocument <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Mar 13:16  And let him that is in the field not turn\nback again for to take up his garment. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                      Wedding\nday. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Groom blows the shofar \u2013\nloudly proclaims, gathers the groomsmen <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  The best man would run\nahead and yell so the bride could get ready, <\/em><\/strong>(John the Baptist) <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Joh 3:29  He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but\nthe friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  him, rejoiceth greatly because of <\/em><\/strong>the bridegroom’s voice<\/em><\/strong>: this\nmy joy therefore is fulfilled. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7<\/em><\/strong>  Rev 19:7-8  Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour\nto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  wife hath made herself ready.  (8) \nAnd to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean\nand <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  white: for the fine linen is the\nrighteousness of saints. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

       \nThe 7<\/em><\/strong>th<\/em><\/strong> day, the 7<\/em><\/strong>th<\/em><\/strong> feast \/ The Feast of Tabernacles \/ The Millennial Reign <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After\nthe wedding,  the groom would  not go to war for 1  year. \nAs with the  Lord  a day \nis as  a 1000  years, \nthis is  the <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

millennial\nreign. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2Pe\n3:8-10  But, beloved, be not ignorant of\nthis one thing, <\/em><\/strong>that one day <\/em><\/strong>is<\/em><\/strong> with the Lord as a thousand\nyears, and <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

a thousand years as one day.<\/em><\/strong>  (9) \nThe Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count\nslackness; but <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

is\nlongsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all\nshould come to repentance.  (10)  But the day <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

of  the \nLord  will  come \nas  a  thief \nin  the  night; \nin  the  which \nthe  heavens  shall \npass  away  with \na  great  noise, \nand  the <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

elements\nshall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein\nshall be burned up. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  The day will come when story\nof marriage (voice) is lost <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rev\n18:23  And the light of a candle shall\nshine no more at all in thee; and the <\/em><\/strong>voice of\nthe bridegroom and of the <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

bride shall be heard no more at all in thee<\/em><\/strong>: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy\nsorceries <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

were all nations deceived. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                The Mystery of\none flesh <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gen\n2:21-23  And the LORD God caused a deep\nsleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: <\/em><\/strong>and he\ntook one of his ribs,<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and\nclosed up the flesh instead thereof; \n(22)  And the rib, which the LORD\nGod had taken from man, made he a woman, <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and\nbrought her unto the man.  (23)  And Adam said, This <\/em><\/strong>is<\/em><\/strong> now <\/em><\/strong>bone of my bones, and flesh\nof my flesh<\/em><\/strong>: she shall <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

be called Woman, because\nshe was taken out of Man. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The creation of Eve was not\nfrom any other substance than that which was already made. Eve was made of the\nsame <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

flesh and bone of Adam.\nWoman came from his flesh and bone, they were one of each other. This is a\ngreat mystery. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eph 5:30-33  For we are members of <\/em>his body, of his flesh, and of his bones<\/em><\/strong>.  (31)  For this cause shall a man leave <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

his father and mother, and\nshall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.  (32) \nThis is a great mystery: <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

but I speak concerning Christ and the church<\/em><\/strong>.  (33)  Nevertheless let every one of you in\nparticular so love his wife <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

even as himself; and the\nwife <\/em>see<\/em> that she reverence <\/em>her<\/em> husband. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                The Creation of\nthe Woman <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nwoman or shall we say the bride is made up of a body. The body is made up of\ndeep water baptized believers. This <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

creates\nthe woman. The woman (the Bride) is made up of individuals who are members one\nof another. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Col\n1:24  Who now rejoice in my sufferings\nfor you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my\nflesh <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

for <\/em><\/strong>his body’s sake, which is the church<\/em><\/strong>: <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

           \nThe Mystery of Marriage demonstrated in the bread of Communion <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1Co\n10:16-17  The cup of blessing which we\nbless, is it not the <\/em><\/strong>communion of the blood of\nChrist<\/em><\/strong>? The bread which <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

we break, is it not the <\/em>communion of the body of Christ<\/em><\/strong>?  (17) \nFor we <\/em>being<\/em> many are <\/em>one bread, <\/em><\/strong>and<\/em><\/strong> one body<\/em><\/strong>: <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

for we are all partakers of\nthat one bread. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Now\nthe woman must drink of the cup the Groom drank of. This is the Lords supper. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mat\n20:22-23  But Jesus answered and said, Ye\nknow not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that <\/em><\/strong>I shall drink <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

of<\/em><\/strong>, and to\nbe baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are\nable.  (23)  And he saith <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

unto them, <\/em>Ye shall drink indeed of my cup<\/em><\/strong>, and be\nbaptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

right hand, and on my left,\nis not mine to give, but <\/em>it shall be given to them<\/em> for\nwhom it is prepared of my Father. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              The perplexing\npart of the cup <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joh  6:52-56  \nThe  Jews  therefore \nstrove  among  themselves, \nsaying,  How  can \nthis  man  give \nus <\/em><\/strong>his<\/em><\/strong>  flesh \nto <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

eat?  (53) \nThen Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you<\/em><\/strong>, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

drink his blood, ye have no life in you.<\/em><\/strong>  (54)  <\/em><\/strong>Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life;<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and I\nwill raise him up at the last day. \n(55)  For my flesh is meat indeed,\nand my blood is drink indeed.  (56)  He that <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

eateth\nmy flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                            The explanation of\ndrinking blood <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1Ch\n11:16-19  And David <\/em><\/strong>was<\/em><\/strong> then in the hold, and the Philistines’ garrison <\/em><\/strong>was<\/em><\/strong> then at Bethlehem. \n(17)  And David <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

longed,\nand said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of\nBethlehem, that <\/em><\/strong>is<\/em><\/strong> at the gate!  (18) \nAnd <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

the\nthree brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well\nof Bethlehem, that <\/em><\/strong>was<\/em><\/strong> by the gate, <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and took\n<\/em><\/strong>it,<\/em><\/strong> and brought <\/em><\/strong>it<\/em><\/strong> to David: but David would\nnot drink <\/em><\/strong>of<\/em><\/strong> it, but poured it out to\nthe LORD,  (19)  And said, My <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God\nforbid it me, that I should do this thing: <\/em><\/strong>shall I\ndrink the blood of these men<\/em><\/strong> that have put their lives in jeopardy?
\nfor with <\/em><\/strong>the jeopardy of<\/em><\/strong> their lives they brought\nit. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To drink\nof their blood: The meaning in metaphorical. \nAs life is in the blood, any loss of life is considered the loss of <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

blood.  As the mighty \nmen  of  David broke through  the host of the Philistines  and \nsecured the  water  from the well \nof <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bethlehem\nfor the thirst of their king, he would not drink it. David felt that the life\nof his fellow companions was of more <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

value\nthan his personal need for all were thirsty. David saw the value of the life of\nall who were with him.   <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the\nfollowing passage below, we see not the servants of the king risking their\nlives but rather, we see the king giving <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

his life\nfor his servants. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joh  6:52-56  \nThe  Jews  therefore \nstrove  among  themselves, \nsaying,  How  can \nthis  man  give \nus <\/em><\/strong>his<\/em><\/strong>  flesh \nto <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

eat?  (53) \nThen Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you<\/em><\/strong>, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and I\nwill raise him up at the last day. \n(55)  For my flesh is meat indeed,\nand my blood is drink indeed.  (56)  He that <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

eateth\nmy flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As David\nwould not drink of the blood of his servants that risked all for the water from\nthe well, here, we understand that <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christ\ngives all and makes it plainly known that if they do not drink his blood, they\nhave no part with him. It is here that <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

the\nservants are to realize that Christ will give his body for their sins and by\nhis death through the shedding of his blood, <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

they can\nhave life. They must drink of his blood. Even though this has a metaphorical\nmeaning, a substance must be <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

consumed\nto fulfill this metaphor. As for David, water represented the blood of the men\nthat hazard their lives. Likewise, <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

the\nmetaphoric drink of the blood of Christ would be the fruit of the vine, the\nblood of the grape, and the eating of his <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

flesh\nwould be the unleavened bread of the Lords supper. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deu\n32:\u2026\u2026 and thou didst drink the pure <\/em><\/strong>blood of\nthe grape<\/em><\/strong>. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1Co 11:23-25  For I have received of the Lord that which\nalso I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the <\/em>same<\/em> night <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

in which he was betrayed\ntook bread:  (24)  And when he had given thanks, he brake <\/em>it,<\/em> and said, Take, eat: this is <\/em>my <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

body, which is broken for you<\/em><\/strong>: this do in remembrance of me. \n(25)  After the same manner also <\/em>he took<\/em> the cup, <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

when  he \nhad  supped,  saying, <\/em>This  cup \nis  the  new \ntestament  in  my \nblood:  this  do \nye,  as  oft \nas  ye  drink <\/em><\/strong>it,<\/em><\/strong>  in <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

remembrance of me.<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                            The continuation of\nthe Lords Table <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When one\nsits at the table known as the Lords supper, they are partaking of the cup of\nthe New Testament, This carries <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

with it\nthe metaphorical example that we accept the betrothal of Christ and will\nfaithfully wait for his return. It is also a <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

time\nwhen a new member added to the body by baptism are given the opportunity to\npartake of the cup and accept the <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

betrothal\nof Christ. Remember the church is a body created by God through repentance of\nsin and faith towards God <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and our\nLords Jesus Christ. Just being part of the body does not make you part of the\nBride. Without the cup, there is <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
