                                  Watchman,\nwhat of the night? <\/strong>watchman, what of the night?<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  Lamentations\n2:19  Arise, <\/strong>cry out in the night<\/strong>: in the beginning of <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                               \nthe watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                               \nLord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                               \nthat faint for hunger in the top of every street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

1 Thessalonians 5:2  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of\nthe Lord so <\/strong>cometh as a thief in the night.<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psa 90:4  For a thousand years in thy sight are but as\nyesterday when it is past, and as a <\/strong>watch in the night.<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      WATCH WITH ME? CAN WE STAY AWAKE IN THESE\nDARK TIMES? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                       \nMatthew  26:38-41    Then \nsaith  he  unto \nthem,  My  soul \nis <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                       \nexceeding  sorrowful,  even \nunto  death:  tarry \nye  here,  and <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                        watch\nwith me<\/strong>. And he went a little further, and fell on his <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                        face,\nand prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                        this\ncup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                       \nwilt.  And  he \ncometh  unto  the \ndisciples,  and  findeth \nthem <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                       \nasleep,  and  saith \nunto  Peter, What,  could \nye  not  watch <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                        with me\none hour?<\/strong> <\/strong>Watch and pray<\/strong>, that ye enter not into <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                       \ntemptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

3 DIFFERENT TYPE OF WATCHES.\nTWO TYPES OF DARKNESS. LITERAL AND SPIRITUAL <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                       \nDARKNESS <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The <\/strong>literal night <\/strong>of the death burial and resurrection of Christ. Within the period\nof a night, it begins with the <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

evening and then the\nmorning. In the evening a 6PM the night watch begins and is divided into 4\nwatches. 6-9, <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9-12, 12-3 and 3-6 AM<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of the three days of\nChrist in the grave represents a watch in the night. The first, second and\nthird day also <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

represents the first, the\nsecond and third watch of the night. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. The entire existence of\nthe Bride, the church is through the night seasons. The seasons are represented\nby <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

time periods. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Mat 25:6  And at <\/strong>midnight<\/strong> there\nwas a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

EACH INDIVIDUAL WATCH\nREPRESENTS DIFFERENT PERIODS OF DARKNESS <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>THE NIGHT HOURS WERE DIVIDED INTO FOUR WATCHES. EACH NEW DAY,\nALWAYS BEGINS <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  IN THE\nEVENING <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 
\n<\/strong>The  Church \nthat  Jesus  established \nduring  His  ministry, \nwas  started  in \nthe  first  watch \nof  the  night, <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

meaning the entire church age is in the night, which is the\napproaching spiritual darkness and blindness <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        THE WATCH IS SET. THE FIRST\nWATCH-EVENING \u2013 APOSTOLIC <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mat 27:64-66  Command therefore that the sepulchre be made\nsure until the third day, lest his disciples come <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

by night, and steal him\naway, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error\nshall be worse <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

than the first.  (65) \nPilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as\nye can.  (66)  So <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

they went, and made the\nsepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and <\/strong>setting a watch<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                          THE SECOND\nWATCH-MIDNIGHT <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE THIRD WATCH – COCK\nCROWING IS THE CHANGING OF THE GUARD OF EACH WATCH <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luke 12:38  And if he shall come in the <\/strong>second watch<\/strong>, or come in the third watch<\/strong>, and find them so, blessed\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

are those servants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              \u2022 <\/strong>Period of the Reformation<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    \u2022 <\/strong>1520AD – 1750AD<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                             \nSardis Church Age Rev 3:1-3<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rev 3:1-3  And unto the angel of the church in Sardis\nwrite; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God,  and \nthe  seven  stars; \nI  know  thy \nworks,  that  thou \nhast  a  name \nthat  thou  livest, \nand <\/strong>art  dead<\/strong>.   (2)  Be <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

watchful<\/strong>,  and strengthen  the \nthings which  remain,  that \nare  ready  to \ndie:<\/strong> for I  have \nnot found  thy  works <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

perfect before God.  (3) \nRemember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and\nrepent. If <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

therefore thou shalt <\/strong>not watch<\/strong>, I will come on thee as a thief<\/strong>, and thou shalt not know\nwhat hour I will come <\/p>\n\n\n\n

upon thee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      THE FOURTH WATCH-MORNING\nWATCH <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mat  14:24-25  \nBut  the  ship \nwas  now  in \nthe  midst  of \nthe  sea,  tossed \nwith  waves:  for \nthe <\/strong>wind  was <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

contrary<\/strong>.  (25)  And in the fourth watch of the night <\/strong>Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark 6:48  And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the\nwind was contrary unto them: and about <\/strong>the fourth watch <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

of the night <\/strong>he cometh unto them,\nwalking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                      \u2022 <\/strong>3AM \u2013 6AM<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  \u2022 <\/strong>Age of deception of the\nenlightenment and intellect<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  \u2022 <\/strong>1750AD \u2013 Until Now<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WE ARE COMMANDED TO WATCH,\nTHE WATCH IS AT NIGHT. WATCH MEANS TO KEEP <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                          AWAKE\n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mar 13:32-37  But of that day and <\/strong>that<\/em><\/strong> hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven,\nneither <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

the Son,\nbut the Father.  (33)  Take ye heed, <\/em><\/strong>watch and pray:<\/em><\/strong> for ye know not when the time is. \n(34)  <\/em><\/strong>For the <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Son of man is<\/em><\/strong> as a man taking a far\njourney, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

man his\nwork, and commanded the porter <\/em><\/strong>to watch<\/em><\/strong>.  (35)  Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the\nmaster <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

of the house cometh, at\neven, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:  (36) \nLest coming suddenly <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

he <\/em>find you sleeping<\/em><\/strong>.  (37) \nAnd what I say unto you <\/em>I say unto all, Watch.<\/em><\/strong>
\n<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1\nCorinthians 16:13  <\/em><\/strong>Watch ye<\/em><\/strong>, stand fast in the faith,\nquit you like men, be strong. <\/em> <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Timothy 4:4-5  And they shall turn away their ears from the\ntruth, and shall be turned unto fables. <\/em>But watch\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

thou <\/em><\/strong>in all things, endure afflictions, do the work\nof an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Peter\n4:7-8  But the end of all things is at\nhand: be ye therefore sober, and <\/em><\/strong>watch\nunto prayer<\/em><\/strong>. And above all <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

things have fervent charity\namong yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    HE SHALL COME AS A THIEF IN\nTHE NIGHT <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1\nThessalonians 5:7  For they that sleep <\/em><\/strong>sleep in the night<\/em><\/strong>; and\nthey that be drunken are drunken in the night.<\/em> <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Peter 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as <\/em>a thief in the night<\/em><\/strong>; in the\nwhich the heavens shall pass away <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

with a great noise, and the\nelements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are\ntherein <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

shall be burned up. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imitation of Light: This is the time era that most of the\ndifferent cults and denominations started. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adventist  -Mormons- \nUnitarism-  Jehovah  Witness- \nTongue  movement-  Charismatic \nmovement-  New  Age <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Movement<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This  is \nwhen  the  contrary \nwinds  of  Atheism, \nSkepticism,  Infidelity,  Ritualism, \nUnitarianism,  Rationalism, <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spiritualism\nwill blow.<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We must\nremember the darkest hour of the night is just before the dawn. <\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\ncoldest time of the night is in the latter part of the fourth watch from\n3AM-6AM <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luk\n18:8  \u2026..Nevertheless when the Son of man\ncometh, shall he find faith    on the\nearth?<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          ARTIFICIAL LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS OF\nSEDUCING SPIRITS <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1\nTimothy 4:1, 1 Timothy 4:1  Now the\nSpirit speaketh expressly, that in the <\/em><\/strong>latter\ntimes some shall depart <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

from the faith<\/em><\/strong>, giving heed to <\/em>seducing spirits, and\ndoctrines of devils;<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2Peter\n2:1-22 Peter 2:1-2  But there were false\nprophets also among the people, even as there shall be false <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

teachers\namong you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord\nthat bought them, and <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

bring\nupon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways;\nby reason of whom the <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

way of\ntruth shall be evil spoken of. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              THE NIGHT IS FAR SPENT AND THE\nDAY IS AT HAND <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romans\n13:12  <\/em><\/strong>The night is far spent<\/em><\/strong>, the\nday is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

let us put on the armour of\nlight. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

IN REGARD TO\nTHE RETURN OF CHRIST, JESUS IS CALLED THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

HE IS THE\nLIGHT AND COMPARED TO THE SUN BRINGING FORTH A NEW DAY <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malachi\n4:2  But unto you that fear my name shall\nthe <\/em><\/strong>Sun of righteousness arise <\/em><\/strong>with healing in his wings; <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and ye\nshall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                            JESUS IS THE\nMORNING STAR <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
