they nod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They agree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They say \u201cof course, I respect him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But <\/a>the issue is this\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most women don\u2019t realize how often they\u2019re being disrespectful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or worse – contemptuous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disgusted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even hateful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It doesn\u2019t always show up as yelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not always a meltdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not even always loud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Often?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s in the micro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The posture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are 10 common behaviors that express contempt, disrespect, disgust, or hatred-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

even when you don\u2019t mean to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Eye Rolling<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Says: \u201cYou\u2019re ridiculous. I don\u2019t take you seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Heavy Sighing When He Speaks or Asks Something<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Says: \u201cYou\u2019re a burden. I\u2019m tired of you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Shaking Your Head While He\u2019s Talking<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Says: \u201cYou\u2019re wrong. Again. As usual.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Flinching or Pulling Away When He Tries to Touch You<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Says: \u201cYou repulse me. Don\u2019t come near me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Turning Your Body Away from Him<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Says: \u201cI\u2019m not with you. I\u2019m done.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Folding Your Arms in Response to Him<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Says: \u201cI\u2019m closed off. I won\u2019t let you in.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Correcting Him in Public\/In Front of Others<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Says: \u201cYou\u2019re incompetent. I need to manage you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Using a Flat, Cold, or Cutting Tone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Says: \u201cYou don\u2019t matter enough for warmth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Sarcastic Jabs and \u2018Jokes\u2019 at His Expense<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Says: \u201cYou\u2019re a fool\u2026and I want everyone to know it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Withholding Eye Contact or Affection<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Says: \u201cYou\u2019re not worth my presence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

None of this is subtle to his nervous system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

None of it goes unnoticed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And no\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It doesn\u2019t matter if \u201cthat\u2019s not what was meant.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s what was communicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is how relationships erode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not with screaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But with slow, steady signals of disrespect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And most women have no idea they\u2019re doing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But he does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
