\u201cLies Satan Tells Older Generations\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He whispers it softly,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

so it sounds like wisdom\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ve already lived your purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your season has passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let <\/a>the young ones speak now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He calls it rest,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but it\u2019s really retreat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He calls it humility,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but it\u2019s really silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He tells you the years behind you<\/p>\n\n\n\n

matter more than the breath still in your lungs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He points to wrinkles and says expiration,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to slower steps and says irrelevant,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to quieter rooms and says finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that voice is not from God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because Scripture has never favored youth over faithfulness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God has always trusted those<\/p>\n\n\n\n

who stayed long enough to learn Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Satan fears the older generation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

because they carry memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because they remember prayers answered slowly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because they know the sound of God\u2019s voice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

after disappointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because they\u2019ve learned obedience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

without applause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He tells you your influence is small now\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but he trembles at your prayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He tells you your strength is gone\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but heaven still responds when you speak the name of Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He tells you your story is old\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but testimony does not expire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God uses seasoned hands<\/p>\n\n\n\n

because they don\u2019t reach for glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He speaks through weathered hearts<\/p>\n\n\n\n

because they recognize truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He entrusts wisdom to those<\/p>\n\n\n\n

who have survived doubt<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and chosen faith anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus is not finished<\/p>\n\n\n\n

when the pace slows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is not done<\/p>\n\n\n\n

when the crowd thins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is not silent<\/p>\n\n\n\n

when life becomes quieter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some callings only begin<\/p>\n\n\n\n

after the noise fades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are prayers only you know how to pray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words only you can speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peace only you can model<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for a generation still learning how to wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Satan can convince you you\u2019re done,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

he doesn\u2019t have to stop you\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

you\u2019ll stop yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if you still have breath,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God still has intention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you still wake up,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He still has purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your faith was not meant to retire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your wisdom was not meant to be shelved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your voice was not meant to go quiet<\/p>\n\n\n\n

just because the world got louder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lie says you\u2019re finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The truth says you\u2019re needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Jesus\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the same yesterday, today, and forever\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

is not done with you yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
