ABSURDITIES AND ATROCITIES<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aristotle (322-384 BC) said, “Those who can make you believe absurdities; can make you commit atrocities.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men can become pregnant, give birth to children and \u201cchest feed\u201d infants. Tthere are more than two genders. Climate change is a deadly serious, but a solve-able problem. Babies in the womb are not human beings, but simply \u201cfetuses;\u201d gobs of tissue who may, for convenience sake, be killed. The ancestors of slaves are deserving of reparations. Western Civilization and white people are the root cause of all the world\u2019s misery. The 2020 elections were free of corruption. The Democrat Party is not communist at its core. Entitlement is more important than merit. Multiculturalism is a good thing. Islam is a \u201cpeaceful\u201d religion. Governmental enforcement of masking, social distancing and quarantines were scientifically valid and helpful during the Covid pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of the above, and much more that could be mentioned, are absurdities that millions of Americans have been made to believe in recent years by government, the scientific and academic communities and the media, etc. These were, and are, all \u201cabsurdities\u201d \u2014 by definition, \u201cridiculous and wildly unreasonable.\u201d The capacity of mankind at every level of society for cruel and atrocious behavior due to belief in absurdities was never more perfectly demonstrated than it was during the Covid-19 and woke era in America, and this is, to say the least, scary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In ancient times people were made to believe in human sacrifice and millions were accordingly \u201coffered up\u201d to idols. In the 20th century, people were made to believe that Jews were non-human resulting in the slaughter of six million of them. Again, Aristotle was right when he said, \u201cThose who can make you believe absurdities; can make you commit atrocities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE GREATEST OF ALL ABSURDITIES is that Truth is subjective, that all religious roads lead to heaven, that it doesn\u2019t matter what one believes as long as they are sincere, and that there is any other way people can be saved other than \u201crepentance towards God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ\u201d (Acts 20:21). See also, Acts 4:12; 16:31; Rom. 10:9, 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE GREATEST ATROCITY resulting from belief in an absurdity is the one people commit against their own souls when they ignore the fact that they are spiritually \u201cdead in trespasses and sins,\u201d and reject God\u2019s gift of eternal salvation \u201dFor the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord\u201d (Rom. 6.23).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
