The 70 weeks of Daniel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of this study is to understand the 70 weeks of Daniels\nvision concerning the holy city and\nthe Jewish people<\/strong>. Because of the misunderstanding of this subject,\nthere has been much confusion and error concerning prophecy and the book of\nRevelation. It is not my intention at this point to explain the book of\nRevelation but to simply state that it is to the last 7 years of Daniels\nvision. If the reader would read very carefully, he would conclude that the\nRevelation is not a 7 year book or the last week of Daniels vision. The 70\nweeks are divided into three categories. The three categories are: 7 weeks, 62\nweeks and 1 week. The formula of Daniels weeks is as follows.  Each day of the week equals a year and each\nweek is 7 years. Therefore 7 weeks is 49 years. This is the time that includes\nthe returning to the holy city after the captivity in order to rebuild the\nwalls, city and temple. Below, the scripture demonstrates the first two\ncategories in which the 70 weeks are divided. Seven and threescore and two\nweeks which is 62.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 9:25  Know therefore and\nunderstand<\/strong>, that<\/em> from\nthe going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the\nMessiah the Prince shall be<\/em> seven\nweeks<\/strong>, and threescore and two\nweeks<\/strong>: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous\ntimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is in the first 7 weeks the restoring of the city, building the\nwalls and temple takes place. After the completion of this and the dedication\nof the temple, the time line of the 62 week commences. 62 weeks is equivalent\nto  434 years. When the 62nd<\/sup>\nweek concludes of 434 years, the last week which is the 70th<\/sup> week\nwill begin. Now let\u2019s consider the following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan\n9:26  And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off<\/strong>, but\nnot for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the\ncity and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be<\/em> with a flood, and\nunto the end of the war desolations are determined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scripture clearly states that it is after the conclusion of\nthe 62 weeks (69th<\/sup> week) that Messiah will be cut off or crucified.\nIt is not during the 62 weeks but AFTER<\/strong>\nthat he will be crucified. Therefore logic will dictate that his crucifixion\nmust be within the 70th<\/sup> week. If it is after the 69th<\/sup>\nweek what other week is left in this determination upon the people and the holy\ncity?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 9:24  Seventy weeks are determined<\/strong>\nupon thy people and upon thy holy\ncity<\/strong>, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to\nmake reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness,\nand to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total sum of 70 weeks is determined upon the people and the holy\ncity. It is by the death of Christ and his resurrection that 6 things are to be\naccomplished. 1. To finish the transgression 2. To make an end of sins <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. To make reconciliation for iniquity 4. To bring in everlasting\nrighteousness 5. To seal up the vision and prophecy 6. To anoint the most Holy.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sermon notes below are provided to help the reader understand\nhow these 6 points were fulfilled and in what week. Logic demands that the six\npoints must be fulfilled as a result of Christ, his death and resurrection. If\nChrist was cut off after the 69th<\/sup> week, then the six points must have\nbeen fulfilled within the last week of the 70, for only 70 weeks are\ndetermined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is a\nsimple formula of deduction of the 69 weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jewish\ncalendar is a lunar orbit calendar. Our calendar if solar orbit calendar. Here\nis how we convert the Jewish calendar to a solar calendar. In conclusion, we\nwill see where we are in time at the conclusion of the 69 weeks. This will\nbring us to Christ in the Jordon river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

69 weeks<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Week =7\nyears (1 year per day)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

69×7= 483\nyears<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Convert to\nJewish calendar<\/p>\n\n\n\n

360 days\nper year (Jewish)  x 483 years = 173,880\ndays<\/p>\n\n\n\n

173,880\ndays divided by Julian calendar of 365.25 per year (allows for leap year) = 476\nYears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 445BC,\nthe Jews left to rebuild the walls. From this time the clock starts. You have\nthe first 7 weeks of building and the remaining 62 weeks until the Messiah\ncomes. This is a total of 69 weeks or 476 years. When you calculate the Jews\nreturning to rebuild the walls, city and temple is 445 B C and subtract that\nfrom the 476 of the 69 weeks, it will place you 30 A D, the time Christ starts\nhis ministry and at John baptizing in the Jordon river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subtract:\n476 total Jewish years is equal the 69 weeks<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\nconclusion, 476 years from the time the Jews left captivity to rebuild the\ncity, walls and temple in 445 B.C. would bring you to Christ in the Jordan\nriver being baptized by John. Christ was baptized 476 years after the Jews left\ntheir bondage. The baptism of Christ begins the last week of the 70. The last\nweek is divided. The first 3 1\/2 year of the 70th week is when Christ will die\nand the sacrifice and oblation cease. At the conclusion the Christ will make a\ncovenant with the house of Israel. Jer 31:31 and Hebrews 8:8-10. This is the\ncovenant that he made known as the New Testament in His blood. Hebrews 9\ndemonstrates how Christ being made a High Priest went in the Holy Place with his\nown blood. The second half is the overspreading of desolation and destruction.\nThis began with the Jewish wars in 66 A.D. and concluded in 70 A.D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If one were to say that the last week of the 70 is yet to be\nfulfilled, when was the following fulfilled?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the last week of the 70 has not yet been fulfilled, we are most\nmen most miserable. If the last week of the 70 is to be fulfilled in the book\nof the Revelation, can you demonstrate with scripture text from this book that\nthis is so? In what chapter or verse do we find in the Revelation Christ\nfinishing the transgression, making an end of sins, make reconciliation for\niniquity, bringing in everlasting righteousness, seal up the vision and\nprophecy and anointing the most Holy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Finish Transgression<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 9:24  Seventy weeks are\ndetermined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression<\/strong>, and to make an end of sins, and to\nmake reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness,\nand to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breaking the law is the transgression and the specific act\nidentified is the sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wounded for\nour transgressions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isa 53:1-12  Who hath\nbelieved our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?  (2) \nFor he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of\na dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there\nis<\/em> no beauty that we should desire him. \n(3)  He is despised and rejected\nof men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our<\/em>\nfaces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  (4) \nSurely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did\nesteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  (5)  But he was<\/em> wounded for our\ntransgressions<\/strong>, he was<\/em> bruised for our iniquities: the\nchastisement of our peace was<\/em> upon him; and with his stripes we are\nhealed.  (6)  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have\nturned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of\nus all.  (7)  He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet\nhe opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a\nsheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  (8)  He\nwas taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation?\nfor he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my\npeople was he stricken.  (9)  And he made his grave with the wicked, and\nwith the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any<\/em>\ndeceit in his mouth.  (10)  Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he\nhath put him<\/em> to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for\nsin, he shall see his<\/em> seed, he shall prolong his<\/em> days, and the\npleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. \n(11)  He shall see of the travail\nof his soul, and<\/em> shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous\nservant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.  (12) \nTherefore will I divide him a portion<\/em> with the great, and he\nshall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul\nunto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of\nmany, and made intercession for the transgressors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understand, if there is\nno law, then there is no transgression<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rom 4:6-8  Even as David\nalso describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth\nrighteousness without works,  (7)  Saying,<\/em> Blessed are<\/em> they whose\niniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.  (8) \nBlessed is<\/em> the man to whom the\nLord will not impute sin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rom 4:13-16  For the\npromise, that he should be the heir of the world, was<\/em> not to Abraham, or\nto his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.  (14) \nFor if they which are of the law be<\/em> heirs, faith is made void,\nand the promise made of none effect:  (15) \nBecause the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is<\/em> no\ntransgression.<\/strong>  (16)  Therefore it is<\/em> of faith, that it\nmight be<\/em> by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed;\nnot to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of\nAbraham; who is the father of us all,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christ\nobeyed the law for himself<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This law included all his mediatorial works and\nsufferings, “for he learned obedience by the things which he\nsuffered.” It is sometimes said, “that Christ obeyed all the precepts\nof the moral law, and bore the penalty, or curse of the same law, for us.”\nBut the propriety of the saying is difficult to conceive of. If Christ obeyed\nall the precepts of the law for us, then for us there was no penalty due;\nother-wise punishment would be inflicted where there was no crime. It is best,\ntherefore, to say, that he obeyed the\nlaw for himself, and suffered the penalty for us.<\/strong> ” He bore our\nsins in his own body on the tree.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second. It was necessary that Christ should give evidence\nof his complex character, and show forth his glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To finish\ntransgression is to eliminate the law that was broken. After faith comes, we\nare no longer under a schoolmaster which is the law, therefore we conclude that\ntransgression has been finished.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gal 3:16-26  Now to Abraham and his seed were the\npromises made.<\/strong> He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one,\nAnd to thy seed, which is Christ.<\/strong>  (17) \nAnd this I say, that<\/em> the\ncovenant<\/strong>, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which\nwas four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make\nthe promise of none effect.  (18)  For if the inheritance be<\/em> of the law, it\nis<\/em> no more of promise: but God gave it<\/em> to Abraham by promise.  (19)  Wherefore then serveth<\/em> the law?\nIt was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the\npromise was made<\/strong>; and it was<\/em> ordained by angels in the hand of a\nmediator.  (20)  Now a mediator is not a mediator<\/em> of\none, but God is one.  (21)  Is<\/em> the law then against the promises\nof God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given\nlife, verily righteousness should have been by the law.  (22) \nBut the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by\nfaith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.  (23) \nBut before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the\nfaith which should afterwards be revealed. \n(24)  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster<\/strong> to\nbring us<\/em> unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.  (25)  But after that faith is come, we are no\nlonger under a schoolmaster.<\/strong> \n(26)  For ye are all the children\nof God by faith in Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The law of\nthe Spirit of life in Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rom 8:1-4  There is<\/em>\ntherefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not\nafter the flesh, but after the Spirit. \n(2)  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus<\/strong> hath made me free from the law of sin and\ndeath.<\/strong>  (3)  For what the law could not do, in that it was\nweak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful\nflesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: \n(4)  That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, <\/strong>who\nwalk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nfinishing of transgression is the salvation we are not to neglect<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heb 2:1-3  Therefore we\nought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at\nany time we should let them<\/em> slip. \n(2)  For if the word spoken by\nangels was stedfast, and every\ntransgression<\/strong> and disobedience received a just recompence of\nreward;  (3)  How shall we escape, if we neglect so great\nsalvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed\nunto us by them that heard him;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whoever\nsins transgresseth the law… sins…He was manifested to take away our sins. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1Jn 3:1-10  Behold, what\nmanner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the\nsons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.  (2) \nBeloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we\nshall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we\nshall see him as he is.  (3)  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself<\/strong>, even as he is\npure.  (4)  Whosoever\ncommitteth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the\nlaw.<\/strong>  (5)  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins<\/strong>; and in him is no\nsin.  (6) \nWhosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen\nhim, neither known him.  (7)  Little children, let no man deceive you: he\nthat doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  (8)  He\nthat committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.\nFor this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works\nof the devil.  (9)  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;\nfor his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of\nGod.  (10)  In this the children of God are manifest, and\nthe children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,\nneither he that loveth not his brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make an end of sins<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 9:24  Seventy weeks are\ndetermined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression,\nand to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting\nrighteousness<\/strong>, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint\nthe most Holy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nparticular focus of salvation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mat 1:21  And she shall\nbring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this\nparticular people, Christ made a new covenant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jer 31:31-34  Behold, the\ndays come, saith the LORD, that I\nwill make a new covenant with the house of Israel,<\/strong> and with the house\nof Judah:  (32)  Not according to the covenant that I made\nwith their fathers in the day that<\/em> I took them by the hand to bring them\nout of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an\nhusband unto them, saith the LORD: \n(33)  But this shall be<\/em> the\ncovenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the\nLORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts;\nand will be their God, and they shall be my people.  (34) \nAnd they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his\nbrother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of\nthem unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no\nmore.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 9:26-27  And after\nthreescore and two weeks shall\nMessiah be cut off<\/strong>, but not for himself: and the people of the prince\nthat shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall\nbe<\/em> with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are\ndetermined.  (27)  And\nhe shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:<\/strong> and in the midst\nof the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the\noverspreading of abominations he shall make it<\/em> desolate, even until the\nconsummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rom 11:26-27  And so all\nIsrael shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the\nDeliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:  (27)  For this is<\/em> my covenant unto them<\/strong>,\nwhen I shall take away their sins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Herein is the purpose and the process of the covenants concerning\nour sin. We sinned, and because man brought sin into the world, God established\nthe first covenant with man known as the law where sacrifice would be made. Not\nthat it would forgive sins, for by the law no flesh shall be justified. This\nfirst covenant was a type of sacrifice that was in Christ. For this purpose,\nChrist would make a NEW<\/strong>\ncovenant with the house of Israel. The first covenant was enjoined by blood,\nand so was the second testament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heb 9:15  And for this cause\nhe is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the\nredemption of the transgressions that\nwere<\/em> under the first testament<\/strong>, they which are called might receive\nthe promise of eternal inheritance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gal 3:15-19  Brethren, I\nspeak after the manner of men; Though it be<\/em> but a man’s covenant, yet if\nit be<\/em> confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.  (16) \nNow to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to\nseeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.  (17) \nAnd this I say, that<\/em> the covenant, that was confirmed before of\nGod in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot\ndisannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.  (18) \nFor if the inheritance be<\/em> of the law, it is<\/em> no more of\npromise: but God gave it<\/em> to Abraham by promise.  (19)  Wherefore then serveth<\/em> the law? Mat 26:28  For this is my\nblood of the new testament<\/strong>,\nwhich is shed for many for the\nremission of sins.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The realization\nof sin produces love for the saviour<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luk 7:44-50  And he turned\nto the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine\nhouse, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with\ntears, and wiped them<\/em> with the hairs of her head.  (45) \nThou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not\nceased to kiss my feet.  (46)  My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but\nthis woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. \n(47)  Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven;\nfor she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same<\/em> loveth\nlittle. <\/strong> (48)  And he said unto her, Thy sins are\nforgiven.  (49)  And they that sat at meat with him began to\nsay within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?  (50) \nAnd he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joh 8:23-24  And he said\nunto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not\nof this world.  (24)  I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die\nin your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he,<\/em> ye shall die in your sins.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Act 26:18  To open their\neyes, and<\/em> to turn them<\/em> from darkness to light, and from<\/em>\nthe power of Satan unto God, that they may\nreceive forgiveness of sins<\/strong>, and inheritance among them which are\nsanctified by faith that is in me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suffered\nfor sins and to bring us to God<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make an\nend of sins is continued by virtue of the advocate. My future sins become my\npast sins<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1Jn 2:1-2  My little\nchildren, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. Dan 2:44  And in the days of these kings shall the God\nof heaven set up a kingdom,<\/strong> which shall never be destroyed: and the\nkingdom shall not be left to other people, but<\/em> it shall break in pieces\nand consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visible\nchurch is the Divine depository of the kingdom; containing laws, scepter,\nsubjects, ordinances. The kingdom laws and practices will continue into the\nmillennial reign of Christ. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rom 14:17  For the kingdom of God<\/strong> is not\nmeat and drink; but righteousness<\/strong>,\nand peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the\nscriptures declare, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom in the days of\nthese kings, meaning the days of the Caesars of Rome. Thus was Christ born in\nthe days of Caesar Augustus and was crucified in the days of Tiberius. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This\nrighteousness is accessed by faith<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By\nrighteousness of one, the free gift came<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rom 5:17-21  For if by one\nman’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of\ngrace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus\nChrist.)  (18)  Therefore as by the offence of one judgment\ncame<\/em> upon all men to condemnation; even\nso by the righteousness of one the free gift came<\/em> upon all men unto\njustification of life.<\/strong>  (19)  For as by one man’s disobedience many were\nmade sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.  (20) \nMoreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. Walking in\nthe newness of life as instruments of righteousness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rom 6:3-4  Know ye not, that\nso many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his\ndeath?  (4)  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism\ninto death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the\nFather, even so we also should walk\nin newness of life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rom 6:12-13  Let not sin\ntherefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts\nthereof.  (13)  Neither yield ye your members as<\/em>\ninstruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as\nthose that are alive from the dead, and\nyour members as<\/em> instruments of righteousness unto God.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seventy\nweeks continued… bringing in everlasting righteousness by way of the Holy\nGhost. The giving of the Holy Ghost was at Pentecost.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rom 8:8-11  So then they\nthat are in the flesh cannot please God. \n(9)  But ye are not in the flesh,\nbut in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man\nhave not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  (10) \nAnd if Christ be<\/em> in\nyou, the body is<\/em> dead because of sin; but the Spirit is<\/em> life\nbecause of righteousness.<\/strong> \n(11)  But if the Spirit of him\nthat raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from\nthe dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in\nyou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eph 5:8-10  For ye were\nsometimes darkness, but now are ye<\/em> light in the Lord: walk as children\nof light:  (9)  (For\nthe fruit of the Spirit is<\/em> in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)<\/strong>  (10) \nProving what is acceptable unto the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bible\nis the instruction book of righteousness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2Ti 3:16-17  All scripture is<\/em>\ngiven by inspiration of God, and is<\/em> profitable for doctrine, for\nreproof, for correction, for instruction\nin righteousness<\/strong>:  (17)  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly\nfurnished unto all good works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heb 5:13-14  For every one that useth milk is<\/em>\nunskilful in the word of righteousness<\/strong>: for he is a babe.  (14) \nBut strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even<\/em>\nthose who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and\nevil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heb 12:11  Now no chastening\nfor the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of\nrighteousness <\/strong>unto them which are exercised thereby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrath will\nhinder the righteousness that Christ brought in<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jas 1:19-21  Wherefore, my\nbeloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to\nwrath:  (20)  For the wrath of man worketh not the\nrighteousness of God.  (21)  Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and\nsuperfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which\nis able to save your souls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When was\neverlasting righteousness brought in? It was brought in by the strips upon his\nback<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1Pe 2:24  Who his own self\nbare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose\nstripes ye were healed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nconclusion of the kingdom<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In understanding the kingdom, it was established during the ministry\nof Christ and invested in the church. In the millennial reign, those faithful\nof the kingdom now, will execute this righteousness until all enemies are\ndestroyed. In the end, the Christ will yield up the kingdom unto God the\nFather. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1Co 15:24-28  Then cometh<\/em> the end, when he\nshall have delivered up the kingdom to God,<\/strong> even the Father; when he\nshall have put down all rule and all authority and power.  (25) \nFor he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.  (26) \nThe last enemy that<\/em> shall be destroyed is<\/em> death.  (27) \nFor he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things\nare put under him, it is<\/em> manifest that he is excepted, which did put all\nthings under him.  (28)  And when all things shall be subdued unto\nhim, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things\nunder him, that God may be all in all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2Pe 3:13  Nevertheless we,\naccording to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seal up the vision and prophecy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nmeaning of “seal up”: Set in place and cannot be changed. Cannot add\nto or take away.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seal up ;H2856<\/strong> ; to close<\/em> up; especially\nto seal: – <\/em>make an end, mark, seal (up), stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job 9:7  Which commandeth\nthe sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth\nup<\/strong> the stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel interprets the visions of Nebuchadnezzar in regard to the\nimage with the head of gold, breast and arms of silver, belly and thighs of\nbrass and legs of Iron and feet mixed with clay. This represents the kingdoms\nto come. This understanding of this vision plays and continual theme of the\ncoming visions that Daniel will have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chapter 8: The vision\nof Antiochus and the pollution of the temple<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 8:13  Then I heard one\nsaint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint<\/em> which\nspake, How long shall be<\/em> the vision concerning<\/em>\nthe daily sacrifice,<\/em> and the transgression of desolation, to give both\nthe sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 8:15-17  And it came to\npass, when I, even<\/em> I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the\nmeaning, then, behold, there stood\nbefore me as the appearance of a man<\/strong>. \n(16)  And I heard a man’s voice\nbetween the banks of<\/em> Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man<\/em> to understand the vision<\/strong>.  (17) \nSo he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell\nupon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of\nthe end shall be<\/em> the vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Persia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 8:19-25  And he said,\nBehold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation:\nfor at the time appointed the end shall be.<\/em>  (20) \nThe ram which thou sawest having two<\/em>\nhorns are<\/em> the kings of Media and Persia. \n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greek<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(21)  And the rough goat is<\/em> the king of Grecia:<\/strong>\nand the great horn that is<\/em> between his eyes is<\/em> the first\nking.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The coming\nof Antiochus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(23)  And in the latter time\nof their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and\nunderstanding dark sentences, shall stand up.<\/strong>  (24) \nAnd his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy\nwonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and\nthe holy people.  (25)  And through his policy also he shall cause\ncraft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself<\/em> in his heart,\nand by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of\nprinces; but he shall be broken without hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understand\nthe vision: This man (angel) Gabriel is in the beginning of the vision<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The angel Gabriel is found 4 times in the scriptures. It appears\nthat his purpose is the visions of Daniel in the last days and the announcement\nof John the Baptist and Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 8:15-16  And it came to\npass, when I, even<\/em> I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the\nmeaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.  (16) \nAnd I heard a man’s voice between the banks of<\/em> Ulai, which\ncalled, and said, Gabriel, make this man<\/em>\nto understand the vision.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 9:20-22  And whiles I was<\/em>\nspeaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel,\nand presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of\nmy God;  (21)  Yea, whiles I was<\/em> speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in\nthe vision at the beginning<\/strong>, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me\nabout the time of the evening oblation. \n(22)  And he informed me,<\/em>\nand talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill\nand understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The angel\nGabriel who stands in the presence of God no sent to prepare the way for John\nthe Baptist and Jesus Christ to fulfill the kingdom<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luk 1:19  And the angel\nanswering said unto him, I am\nGabriel, that stand in the presence of God<\/strong>; and am sent to speak unto\nthee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luk 1:25-33  Thus hath the\nLord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me,<\/em> to take away my\nreproach among men.  (26)  And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a\ncity of Galilee<\/strong>, named Nazareth, \n(27)  To a virgin espoused to a\nman whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was<\/em>\nMary.  (28)  And the angel came in unto her, and said,\nHail, thou that art<\/em> highly favoured, the Lord is<\/em> with thee:\nblessed art<\/em> thou among women. \n(29)  And when she saw him,<\/em>\nshe was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation\nthis should be.  (30)  And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary:\nfor thou hast found favour with God.  (31)  And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb,\nand bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.  (32) \nHe shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the\nLord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:  (33) \nAnd he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom\nthere shall be no end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose is to bring\nto pass that which was mentioned in the beginning of the vision<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 2:36-45  This is<\/em>\nthe dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.  (37) \nThou, O king, art<\/em> a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath\ngiven thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.  (38) \nAnd wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and\nthe fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler\nover them all. Thou art<\/em> this head of gold.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Persia and\nthe Greek<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(39)  And after thee shall\narise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass,\nwhich shall bear rule over all the earth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rome<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 (40)  And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as\niron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things:<\/em> and\nas iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.  (41) \nAnd whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and\npart of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the\nstrength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry\nclay.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ten toes of\niron mixed with clay is the nations of Europe. This is the partitioning of\nRome, also known as the 10 horns or the ten kings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(42)  And as<\/em> the toes\nof the feet were<\/em> part of iron, and part of clay, so<\/em> the kingdom\nshall be partly strong, and partly broken. \n(43)  And whereas thou sawest iron\nmixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but\nthey shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kingdom\nof God being set up via his churches until the Messianic 1000 year reign<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(44)  And in the days of\nthese kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be\ndestroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but<\/em> it\nshall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for\never.  (45)  Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was\ncut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron,\nthe brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to\nthe king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is<\/em> certain,\nand the interpretation thereof sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the\nprocess of time, this prophecy will be understood<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 12:4  But thou, O\nDaniel, shut up<\/strong> the words,\nand seal the book, even<\/em> to the time of the end: many shall run to and\nfro, and knowledge shall be increased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 12:9  And he said, Go\nthy way, Daniel: for the words are<\/em> closed\nup and sealed<\/strong> till the time of the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Anoint the most Holy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dan 9:24  Seventy weeks are\ndetermined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression,\nand to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to\nbring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and\nto anoint the most Holy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nanointing of Jesus in body by the Holy Ghost<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luk 4:18-19  The Spirit of\nthe Lord is<\/em> upon me, because he\nhath anointed me<\/strong> to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to\nheal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering\nof sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,  (19) \nTo preach the acceptable year of the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Act 4:26-28  The kings of\nthe earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and\nagainst his Christ.  (27)  For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed<\/strong>,\nboth Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel,\nwere gathered together,  (28)  For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel\ndetermined before to be done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Act 10:37-40  That word, I\nsay,<\/em> ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from\nGalilee, after the baptism which John preached; \n(38)  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with\npower: <\/strong>who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed\nof the devil; for God was with him. \n(39)  And we are witnesses of all\nthings which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they\nslew and hanged on a tree:  (40)  Him God raised up the third day, and shewed\nhim openly;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nanointing of the Most Holy. Is the
\n“Most Holy” a place or person? Or a person represented by a\nparticular place?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heb 9:8-12  The Holy Ghost\nthis signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made\nmanifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:  (9) \nWhich was<\/em> a figure for\nthe time then present<\/strong>, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices,\nthat could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the\nconscience;  (10)  Which stood<\/em> only in meats and drinks,\nand divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them<\/em> until the time of reformation<\/strong>.  (11) \nBut Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect\ntabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;<\/strong>  (12) \nNeither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he\nentered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for\nus.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The figure for the\ntime: <\/strong>The tabernacle of Moses or the temple that Solomon built, rebuilt\nby <\/em>Zerubbabel\nand repaired by Herod was a figure of the physical\nbody of Jesus Christ. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Time of reformation<\/strong>:\nThe ending of burdensome ceremonies, rituals and sacrifices by the sacrifice of\nJesus Christ as the lamb of God upon the cross. This is when he will in the\nmidst of the 70th week  make a covenant\nwith the house of Israel and cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heb 10:17-20  And their sins\nand iniquities will I remember no more. \n(18)  Now where remission of these\nis, there is<\/em> no more offering for sin. \n(19)  Having therefore, brethren,\nboldness t enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,  (20) \nBy a new and living way<\/strong>,\nwhich he hath consecrated for us, through\nthe veil, that is to say, his flesh;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Greater and more perfect\ntabernacle not made with hands:<\/strong> \nJesus who was the begotten of God the Father , born of a virgin as\nglorified tabernacle that was made without human hands including the\nresurrected body of Christ without the help or aid of man.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christ as the High\nPriest in heaven  for us<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heb 9:24  For Christ is not<\/strong> entered into the holy places made with hands, which\nare<\/em> the figures of the true<\/strong>; but into heaven itself, now to appear\nin the presence of God for us:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christ entered into the holy place in heaven for us and is set\ndown on the right hand of God the Father making intercession for us. Christ appears in the\ncourt of heaven for his saints, by representing their persons; by presenting\nhimself, his blood, sacrifice, and righteousness, before God on their account;\nby introducing them into the presence of God, and offering up their prayers\nwith the incense of his mediation; by presenting them to himself, and to his\nFather, and obtaining every blessing for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nsanctuary and the true tabernacle which the Lord pitched and not man is his\nbody the church<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heb 8:1-2  Now of the things\nwhich we have spoken this is<\/em> the sum: We have such an high priest, who\nis set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;  (2)  A\nminister of the sanctuary, and of the\ntrue tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christ is the head of his church and the minister thereof. He is\nat the right hand of the Father expecting until his enemies become his\nfootstool. This is the true tabernacle which the Lord pitched and not man. The\nLord Jesus Christ established his church, for it has no earthly founder. It is\nwhat the Lord pitched according to his promise as in the days of these kings, I\nwill set up a kingdom to which there will be no end nor given to another people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Act 7:37-38  This is that\nMoses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet <\/strong>shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your\nbrethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear. \n(38)  This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness <\/strong>with\nthe angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with<\/em> our fathers:\nwho received the lively oracles to give unto us:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Moses\nwas over his house, the house of the nation of \nIsrael, so is Christ over His house, the holy nation, the church<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heb 3:4-10  For every house\nis builded by some man;<\/em> but he that built all things is<\/em> God.  (5) \nAnd Moses verily was<\/em> faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which\nwere to be spoken after<\/strong>; \n(6)  But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we,<\/strong>\nif we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the\nend.  (7) \nWherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,  (8) \nHarden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation\nin the wilderness:  (9)  When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and\nsaw my works forty years.  (10)  Wherefore I was grieved with that generation,\nand said, They do alway err in their<\/em> heart; and they have not known my ways.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
