It’s Good to Be a Man<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

12h<\/strong><\/a>  \u00b7 Intemperate men pose a very real danger to society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a reason that “boys don’t cry” was once an important part of preparing boys for manhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Males are both more powerful and aggressive than their female counterparts. They have a greater potential for violence and destruction. Therefore, it is crucial that young men learn how to master their emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men must know how to keep a cool head when calm turns to chaos all around them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men must know how to defuse or redirect their anger towards something constructive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men must practice emotional restraint. If men are to be leaders, they must be temperate (1 Tim 3:2, Titus 2:2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a place to weep.
Jesus wept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a place for anger.
Jesus overturned tables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no place for whining. Men must be taught the difference and live accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More emotive men will mean more destruction. Not less. See Less\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
