August 25, 2018<\/strong><\/a>  \u00b7 WHAT’S THE PROBLEM WITH MANY CONCERNING TRUTH TODAY? WHY ARE SO MANY BLINDED BY THE LIES OF THE LIBERAL LEFT? 2 Thessalonians has many answers! Troubled minds are often the easiest to deceive! There are two sources of deception these days. The first is the devil! The second is the Lord God Almighty!2 Thessalonians 2:3, 8-11 “3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;8. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:9. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,10. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.11. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:”This “trickster” is none other than the Antichrist, the embodiment of the devil in human form! Daily, Satan spits lies at us to influence our minds!However, God will send you a delusion if you choose to not believe His truth found in the Word of God instructing us about salvation through His Son, the LORD Jesus Christ.It’s ENTIRELY YOUR CHOICE whom you desire to believe!THE DEVIL WANTS TO DECEIVE YOU BECAUSE IT’S HIS NATURE!John 8:44 “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”Who typifies those who will convince you that a lie is of the truth? These will:2 Peter 2:14-21 “Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:15. Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;16. But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet.17. These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.18. For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.19. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.20. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.21. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.”Some of these liars are modern day preachers dressed as wolves in Shepard’s clothing! They care not those who they are sheparding! Money is their main concern! John 10:13 “The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.”Exactly WHO promises you liberty and righteousness? Only Jesus, the good Shepard can promise unmitigated liberty in Him. Jesus exclaimed:John 10:14-15 “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.”Q. What things “bind” us spiritually and psychologically?A. Finances and power!1 Timothy 6:10 “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”Ultimate freedom is found not in riches and power but ONLY in the person of Jesus Christ when you have yielded your soul unto Him and invite Him to save you and guide you! He gives us the freedom to one day walk upon streets paved with gold and be rid of our sinful nature forever (Revelation 21:21)! Romans 8:2 “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”Galatians 5:1 “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”Don’t get so tangled (involved) with the world that you become deaf to the calling of the LORD!From the point in time we ask Jesus to be our LORD, Saviour, and guide, we are free from sin and eternal death! At that moment, that very moment God imparts unto us Christ’s righteousness God treats us as if we have never had any connection with sin concerning our souls! (Our flesh is another story! It continues to desire lusts that entice us.)1 John 2:16 “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”Whereas our economic system is based upon gold, in heaven it’s of little value and we’ll walk upon it!Q. SO…WHATS THE POINT OF THIS ARTICLE?A. ITS ABOUT WHERE YOU’LL BE SPENDING MORE THAN A MILLION YEARS OF YOU’RE FUTURE LIFE! It concerns your “ever-afters”! ALL OF THEM!Q. Where?A. EITHERin HEAVEN by humbly believing the gospel (that Jesus Christ died on the cross paying for the cost of your sins with His own blood, that He was buried, but that three days later He arose from the dead of His own power!) John 10:17 “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.”OR in HELL BY REJECTING GOD’S FREE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE!Matthew 13:50 “And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”Matthew 25:30 “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”Revelation 20:12.&15.12. “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”15. “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”If you desire true freedom, it’s only available with the LORD Jesus Christ. I know… it’s a conudrum…yielding yourself to anything NEVER promises freedom. However, in Jesus Christ we ARE made free!THE MORAL:Acts 16:31 “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”Ensure yourself of a “Happy Ending”!2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”Which “Whosoever” are you?
